DISÌO, AN UNMISSABLE STOP!
Arriving in front of the restaurant, we are welcomed by the staff and taken to our table. We are given the menu, from which we can see a good variety of appetizers and first courses. The second courses and side dishes are more limited.
After careful reading and evaluation we decide to opt for:
- BUSIATE SHRIMP AND PISTACHIO, a typical pasta from Trapani, accompanied by a cream of pistachios, shrimp and burrata;
- RISOTTO SCUSO', a classic seafood risotto;
- CATCH OF THE DAY as a second course.
The very kind and helpful waitress takes our order and then brings us a welcome drink to start the evening.
The breadsticks were homemade and the bread was still warm when they brought it.
After a fair amount of waiting, the first courses arrive, the busiate, more aesthetically elaborate, with a delicate flavor with the shrimp "hidden" at the bottom of the plate and the burrata that combined perfectly with the pistachio cream. The risotto scusò (seafood) abundant in every aspect from the rice to the fish with a great variety of the latter, strong flavors, to try at least once.
The catch of the day, to say the least amazing, fish that once chosen, is brought and cared for in front of the table, a service that is not insignificant and that makes its mark. (watch the video)
The bill for two people, is around €50 per person, a little more a little less, then it always depends on what you choose to eat.
For what we ate I consider it in line and correct.

I had a great time at Disìo, a sophisticated environment but at the same time not too formal. Service and staff bordering on excellence, you feel accompanied by the staff in the lunch/dinner you are about to experience. I highly recommend it.
