I often go here for pizza, and I can honestly say that Dious Pizzeria in Pescara is one of my favorite places to enjoy good Neapolitan pizza. The pizza is always cooked to perfection in a wood-fired oven, with a soft, slightly charred crust, and they use only buffalo mozzarella, just as Neapolitan tradition dictates. The atmosphere is rustic and simple, nothing fancy, but despite the appearance, the quality of the pizza is so exceptional that it's worth a visit.

A particular pizzeria but worth trying. The strong point is undoubtedly the quality/price ratio: a truly excellent pizza, large (even too large), well seasoned (even too much!) at an absolutely competitive price. The location is particular, near the river, near the sea, unfortunately it ended up under the structure of the sea bridge but in the end even that is not a problem. The room, so to speak, is small and quite naïve, in a sort of tent, but I, who also love places conceived and created with creativity and imagination, found myself happy there. The only flaw, from my point of view, is an excess of digitalisation, menus on the QR code, payment machines, things that I cannot tolerate at airports, let alone in the informal pizzeria under the bridge. But that's it. The pizza was good, the girl who served us was friendly, the price was appropriate. We can go back.

Gionni was warm and gave us a very friendly welcome! We could only communicate with our hands and feet, but that didn't matter. You know when you're welcome, and we were ❤️ The pizza and snacks were incredibly delicious! The pizza was huge! The pizzeria is small and easy to miss if you're not from around here. As we walked across the Ponte del Mare in the evening and the lights were on, it caught our eye. We're so happy about this little Italian gem! Thank you so much again! Sabrina & Henri
