A café and pastry shop where you can buy delicious pastries and biscuits. The owner is friendly.

This is a place that needs to be understood: just because the owners aren't overly cheerful doesn't mean they aren't kind or professional. We dropped in to pick up an Amazon package and ended up enjoying a delicious gelato (at absolutely fair prices) while admiring both the beautiful hydrangeas outside and the inviting display of macarons, pastries, and cakes (including one made only on August 15th, a real treat!). The slightly dated ambiance adds further character to the place. Let's not forget that this is a mountain village, where you shouldn't expect urbane treatment and pace, but rather adapt to the locals. Being a paying tourist doesn't mean you have the right to denigrate the people who have lived and worked here their entire lives.

The pastry shop is excellent, as is the café, the atmosphere is a bit vintage, and the service is good.
