Really good, super reasonable prices, and excellent quality. Homemade pasta, deliciousness on par with that of a trattoria in the Nebrodi mountains, yet you're just a stone's throw from the Acireale train station. I couldn't finish the tuna because the first course was so generous. Finely and tastefully decorated.

Today we came for lunch and the lady made us sit even though we hadn't booked. We took the order together with her. She was very kind and apologized several times for the wait....I can't blame her but the person who prepares them. Too much waiting.

Arancino, 10 out of 10. Perfect breading and frying, sweet and tasty ragù, perfectly cooked rice, plenty of cheese, and very tender pieces of meat. We'll be back.

The Mescan

08/01/2026: Happy to have rediscovered this place! Mescan is a historic pub in Acireale. I spent many evenings there with friends as a teenager, but then it went into decline and I haven't had the chance to frequent it again. I was skeptical about returning, but I was surprised to find a place that has been reborn, even better than before! The place is still as amazing as it was then, but the food, beers, and overall quality have significantly improved. Their burgers are delicious, with homemade bread and quality ingredients. The service is friendly, helpful, and fast. To this day, it's one of the few pubs in the Catania area that can still call itself such. Prices are in line with the rest of the market, with the difference compared to other places that are adequate for the quality provided. Average cost €20 per person.
22/10/2025: The beer was great, and the place is super cozy.
