Decantei - Locanda In Bressanone

An unexpected little place near the Bressanone Cathedral. Almost minimalist decor with a pleasant outdoor area. Refined cuisine with excellent ingredients and pairings. The high quality is evident even in the simple dishes, from cold cuts to desserts. The dishes are also pleasing to the eye. Fast and friendly service. High prices.

We are thrilled with the Decantei. Great ambiance, friendly, attentive staff. The products are prepared with absolute freshness. A great wine recommendation, too. The style is somewhere between old and modern. We really enjoyed it. We also liked that you can order the appetizers as full-fledged main courses.

Highly recommended at any time. A fantastic atmosphere and excellent food. The only thing is that the service could have paid a little more attention to the fill levels in the glasses. We'd be happy to come back.

We visited Decantei spontaneously and without reading any reviews. There was a lunch menu with dishes ranging from €14-16, including a small salad, a main course, 500 ml of water/sparkling water, and an espresso. The food was delicious, the ambiance very stylish, and the service (Simon) exceptionally friendly. We'd be happy to return.

We were quite disappointed: 1.) The food was good, but not very good. 2.) The service was inattentive. There were many waiters, but we didn't feel like we were being served. It seemed as if the staff were all student assistants with no experience in the service field. 3.) Apparently, there was no space available outside, which turned out to be false as the evening progressed. We would have appreciated some information. 4.) Overall, everything was very hectic and hectic. Overall, the price-performance ratio just wasn't right.

Very good food, friendly service and great atmosphere.

Very nice restaurant with a great atmosphere. We arrived around 6:15 p.m. (without a reservation). Four of the staff were standing around, and no one asked what we wanted. When we approached, they checked to see if there was room, and we were given a table in the garden. The noticeboard outside said dinner was served from 6:30 p.m. We sat at the table... Meanwhile, six staff members were standing around, but no one came to ask if we'd like a drink. Then at 6:30 p.m.: Simone (who had been serving at the bar) came to the table, asked us in a perfectly formal manner what we'd like to drink, and gave us the menu. His service was very pleasant and courteous (the three ⭐️ are for the initial "welcome"). Food: Spare ribs with sweet potatoes were very, very tasty! 😍 I imagined the grilled sardines to be different (not cold). I've never eaten them "in this form" before; it was good, but there were way too many onions for me!

The menu is a bit sparse, and the prices are very high for what's on offer (a very simple Italian beef steak, cooked questionably well, costs €56). The service depends on the waiter you get... some are very kind and helpful, others are downright unpleasant. The outdoor garden is very pretty, and it's a pleasure to dine there.

Sono stata in questo locale per ben due volte in due giorni, una volta a pranzo ed una volta per la cena. Locale molto carino con un cortile estivo aperto. Tipica la parte interna. Personale cortese. Il cibo è davvero buono. I prezzi medio alti. A cena ho ordinato il piatto tipico della locanda (asparagi bianchi, prosciutto cotto, patate al prezzemolo e salsa bolzanina) e una birra bionda piccola (totale 32 euro circa). A pranzo ho ordinato mezzelune ripiene con spinaci e formaggio, condite con burro nocciola e parmigiano, ed una bottiglia d'acqua (totale 20 euro circa).

Wir waren zum 2. Mal im "Decantei" und wieder sehr zufrieden. Im Rahmen der Wochen zur "Eisacktaler Kost" gab es u.a. eine tolle Forelle mit dem ersten Spargel der Saison und Schlutzkrapfen - lecker! Der Service ist nett und kompetent, die Weinkarte auch bei offenen Weinen gut sortiert und es gibt zudem sehr gutes Carft-Beer vom Fass!
