This place is definitely worth a visit to sample the traditional cuisine. The fried pizzas are perfectly cooked, well-topped, and not at all greasy. Service is super fast, and lunch is €10 per person.

A simple yet historic restaurant right in the city center. Extremely friendly and welcoming service. And the fried pizza is definitely among the best in Naples! Definitely recommended!

The best pizza fritta in Napoli, in my opinion. Every time that I visit Napoli I must eat there. The ladies that run the place do a wonderful job, and the prices are reasonable - don't miss it!

Good, but not excellent. What bothered me most was the smell of animal fat (squeaks, lard, etc.) when the fried pizza arrived at the table, even though it was just plain white pizza, just ricotta and pepper. It must be the oil that's impregnated with that smell. Anyway, I liked the dough and the frying.

This historic pizzeria specializes in fried pizzas. The menu is minimalist (6-7 possible fried pizzas) and remains true to tradition, as evidenced by the return of humble ingredients like pork rinds. The fried pizza is not greasy and generously filled. We tried a Sicilian fried pizza (tomato, provola, and eggplant) and one with escarole. Service is basic, with paper napkins, plastic cups, and no tablecloths. The atmosphere is clean and, again, rustic. The waitress and cook often work together and serve with a pleasant smile. The price is ridiculously low, €8 for any of the fried pizzas on the menu. Visitors to this pizzeria don't want to experience the Naples of gourmet pizzas cut with golden scissors, but rather the Naples of the 1980s, down-to-earth and without frills.

07/01/2026: I had a great time Even though I'm lactose intolerant, the atmosphere was welcoming, the food excellent, the staff friendly and helpful. If you want to eat well 🍴, I highly recommend this restaurant.
05/01/2026: I visited Pagus restaurant for a company dinner, and the experience was overall pleasant, especially regarding the quality of the food and the informal atmosphere. Pagus presents itself as a restaurant suited to evenings with friends, without too many pretensions, ideal for a quick bite to eat or a convivial get-together with colleagues. The menu offered for the evening was fairly classic but well executed. The seafood appetizer was a traditional selection, simple yet tasty, with well-presented products and balanced flavors. Next, we sampled the seafood parcels, a first course with a flavorful and well-blended sauce that satisfied most of the diners. The pasta was cooked just right, and the sauce was pleasant, without being overpowering. The second course was the fried shrimp and calamari, dry and crispy, a sign of well-made fried food. The portions were adequate, and the dish proved a perfect light yet satisfying end to the dinner. The service was friendly and reasonably quick, despite the large crowd, and the atmosphere was welcoming and informal, perfect for a group dinner.
