The place is impressive with its lake view and the service is excellent, that's for sure, but the prices are a little too high in my opinion. We got two ice cream cups and a water for a total of 27 euros. The ice cream was good, but just too expensive.

The place is beautiful. Food is average. The service is not courteous. They act like if you don't eat, you don't deserve service. We went twice. We did not see the same courtesy from the same waiters the first time while eating, while drinking coffee and eating dessert. We were even seated at a table on the side. We won't go again. We want to support quality places that treat customers with courtesy.

Fronte lago con una bellissima vista. Personale gentilissimo. Buona la pizza e i primi piatti. Buono il dolce fatto in casa. Gelati artigianali. Prezzo adeguato alla posizione e alla qualità. Una gradevole esperienza estiva. Consigliabile.

Best meal we had during our stay in Stresa. So much flavor and the view of the lake at sunset is perfect!

01/09/2024: The location is not something worth mentioning but the service is fast and enjoyable. The tables are carefully arranged and everything is clean. Unfortunate the food was somehow lacking taste. From 4 dishes, three did not meet the standard and the forth was average but better than the other ones. Pitty
14/08/2024: Sehr freundlicher und aufmerksamer Service, gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis und typisches, ausgezeichnetes italienisches Essen. Bin öfter da und immer wieder sehr zufrieden.

Il Covo Dei Pirati

18/07/2024: Visiting the beautiful Isola Pescatori, we came across this little gem. With the stunning view, we decided to stop for a drink. The staff were super kind and sat us at the water's edge, under the shade. Our drinks were served quickly and we were left to admire the scenery without pressure to drink up and go. Browsing through their menu, there was no mention of gluten free (senza glutine), but not wanting to leave we asked the lovely lady if there was anything suitable. Her English was very good and there were lots of options, even pasta. I opted for a salad, but she brought me GF bread and oils too. I have found in Italy it is always worth asking for GF as many places don't advertise it, but can accommodate it.
17/07/2024: They were very accommodating. We were a large group and we all enjoyed our meals.
