We were in Stresa at the end of May and stumbled upon Daniel's Bar more or less by chance. The location is wonderful, the ambiance was decent; as with many restaurants, you shouldn't judge by appearances. The food and service were excellent. The prices were reasonable. I don't understand why people are complaining about the coperto, as has happened several times here; that's common practice in Italy. In any case, we received very good service and visited Daniel's Bar again, again with good food and good service. A definite recommendation!

Bellissima location fronte lago, dehor spazioso tra verde e fiori. Personale gentile, piatti italiani, pizza molto buona servita su un piatto caldo (ottima idea!), macedonia di frutta preparata al momento. Consigliato.

Our first meal upon arriving in Italy from Milan airport hot, tired and thirsty. Many thanks to the very kind English speaking waitress who let us tuck our large bags behind the table. Beautiful views over the lake. Food was fine, good pizza. They also have a nice gelateria, so we returned next day for an ice-cream. Pay for your gelato ticket at the cafe kasse before selecting.

Magical place and very beautiful place. Clean, nice with a breathtaking 360 view. The rib-eye steak is a delight with top-notch potatoes. The pizza has a thin crust and the 4 cheese is not greasy at all and plentiful. The chef's homemade tiramisu was to die for. The prices are deserved for this magical place with pleasant service for my part and we arrived in the pouring rain with our little dog and were well received. THANKS ! We had a great time and the furniture, the little lamps, the heating flame because it was chilly were great. We will come back!!
