The downside is the service. Undoubtedly courteous and kind, the negative note is the slowness in managing waiting times. When the management was in the hands of the father, perhaps for a better distribution of tasks, the service was faster.
The food is good and the environment welcoming. For the potential reader of this review, the place is a trattoria and not a restaurant, therefore for this category the overall rating is decidedly good also considering, for the tourist, that the place is located in the Vomero district of the city of Naples.

I went there by chance with my wife and I was so happy with it that I took my friends there too. Everyone was very happy: excellent food, very kind owner, welcoming environment, value for money 10 out of 10. I add a photo which shows the satisfaction of the friends........

Ho trovato per caso questa trattoria dovendo fermarmi per pranzo con mio figlio piccolo, visto che mia moglie era al Santobono con l’altro mio figlio. Che dire, cucina semplice, tradizionale, gustosissima, come se avesse cucinato mia nonna, mio figlio, che normalmente è molto complicato col cibo, ha mangiato di gusto; porzioni abbondanti, servizio rapido ed estremamente cortese, prezzi modici che ormai non si trovano più nemmeno in una rosticceria ( pensavo avessero sbagliato il conto). Che dire, ho apprezzato tantissimo e anche se non viviamo in zona, torneremo sicuramente. Complimenti!

An experience repeated several times now, because the food is cooked with extreme care like at home.
Furthermore, courtesy and attention to the customer represent fundamental rules of the business. Attention also applies to those who have to eat with little salt. The coffee is really like the one at home prepared with the moka. In short, we will come back every time.
