The place is very popular, so you need to book in advance, otherwise you'll have to wait hours for a table to open up. They offer very good typical Ligurian dishes at affordable prices, which isn't a given. We've been there several times 👍

A lovely restaurant in the historic center of Albenga, small but very welcoming. It's a shame the tables are a bit too close together. The food was good, starting with farinata, followed by calamari and rabbit skewers. The service was good, with relatively short wait times. The quality/price ratio was good, which makes it easy to see why there's always a line outside.

You leave feeling delighted with how good you ate, something almost impossible these days, regardless of the price, which is also more than fair; you'll want to try everything!
The two wood-fired ovens are even more charming because they're inside a beautifully contextualized space in the middle of the medieval city of Albenga! Despite the enormous workload, the staff is attentive and kind, even when super busy.

A typical Ligurian restaurant, with a wood-fired oven, excellent. The farinata is delicious, as are everything else, including the baked meringue pie, which is a must-try. Unfortunately, there are never enough seats to accommodate everyone, but reservations are now possible. Efficient management and friendly staff. Definitely recommended.
For those who love air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and up-to-date websites, I recommend the clean, nouvelle cuisine restaurants that leave you with an empty stomach and a healthy wallet. There will be more room for lovers of authentic, traditional cuisine.

Informal place but... if you want to eat farinata in Albenga you have to try it, fair prices and fish skewers, pizza etc. all in the double wood-fired oven.
