We have visited Da Pippi during Ferragosto initially as a backup because many restaurants were closed.
At the end we were glad about this coincidence and it is truly a local highlight. The service was excellent and the quality of the menu was outstanding. We had Pasta as Primi Piatti and they were authentic and delicious. As Secondi we had calve with potatoes and this was amazing. The gravey was amongst the best I have ever had so far. As dessert we asked what was the most popular one for the place and it turned out to be pana cotta. It was so soft, tasty and delicious!
Also the Ambiente was nice.
We can only recommend to visit this restaurant.
Fantastic is the least I can say. Excellent food and a lovely location. The staff were truly welcoming and attentive.

The place is well presented, warm and welcoming, the service from Arianna is impeccable, as for the food I highly recommend the egg tajarin, the Ligurian-style rabbit, but above all the dessert, panna cotta, with caramel and hazelnuts, the best I've ever eaten.

It certainly doesn't need my opinion. I rarely go in blind for a meal. I arrive by chance, and the entrance isn't very appealing. But once inside, you'll find quality, excellent wine, and a great deal of kindness from the owner and his staff.
The dishes are very well-cooked. I love panna cotta, and I swear it's the best I've ever had. I can only say BRILLIANT.

We were recommended it for its panna cotta (for which it's renowned), but we were extremely satisfied with all the dishes (both seafood and meat). It's essential to leave room for dessert, though!

We stopped here to break up the journey. It's close to the highway. The atmosphere is rustic and intimate, family-run. We were warmly welcomed. The traditional Ligurian dishes were delicious: trofie with pesto, Ligurian-style rabbit, and torta paradiso with zabaglione.

A very nice and well-kept place, with extremely courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable staff. Interesting menu, traditional Ligurian cuisine with some very successful reinterpretations. Excellent wines. Save room for dessert, too; they're worth it.
We ate very well for a reasonable price. Unlike many, I don't like taking photos of my food, so you won't find any.

Trattoria in pieno centro a Masone in un locale caratteristico, sevizio veloce e professionale, piatti di buona qualità presentati in maniera eccellente, prezzi nella media considerando ciò che si è mangiato. Lo consiglio vivamente, è consigliata la prenotazione in quanto il locale non ha moltissimi coperti.

...e,come accade al sottoscritto, vi sembrerà di andare a pranzare/cenare a casa dei parenti più stretti,che vi cucineranno il meglio....come faceva una volta la nonna...dalla carne,al sugo,dai ravioli,allo stoccafisso, al DOLCE,al caffè, al VINO,al passito....signori,QUALITÀ, COMPETENZA E SIMPATIA!! UN'APPLAUSO da Massimo siete dei grandi !
