Nice welcoming family run place. Good food of excellent quality, we just don't recommend the chestnut gnocchi, which in our opinion are too delicate and tasteless, but everything else is excellent. The wine by the glass is also good. We prefer not to say why we only give the service 1 star, hoping it was an exception. Fair prices.

We had lunch today in this little treasure chest of delights, every bite a delicacy.....the desserts, for a serial glutton like me, make your eyes glaze over with taste emotion! 😃

Excellent restaurant, excellent food and service and reasonable price

Facendola breve, l'unico contro è il prezzo. Circa 60 a testa con due portate più dolce è francamente troppo elevato. Gli antipasti variano circa nella fascia 12-16, i primi 15-20, idem i secondi. Contorni 4-5€ e dolci 8-9. 3€ di coperto. Il locale si trova affacciato sulla statale del Turchino che attraversa masone, facilissimo da vedere e da raggiungere. L'interno è curato, la tavola apparecchiata con cura e con stoviglie di qualità e la pulizia è impeccabile (Il bagno non esiterei a definirlo scintillante). Personale cortese, simpatico, rapido nel servizio; insomma, complimenti. Proposta gastronomica piuttosto in linea con la tradizione dell'entroterra ligure ma con l'aggiunta di alcune valide divagazioni. Tra cui anche alcune portate di pesce (pensiero eretico per molti). I dolci son ad un livello estremamente alto: Presentati senza fronzoli (quelli vanno bene a Milano) ma dal gusto sensazionale (a noi piace la sostanza). Cantina da intenditori, figlia della vicinanza col generoso (in questo ambito) Piemonte. Concludendo, vale sicuramente la pena andarci ma rimango convinto che la cifra sia un po' alta per esser a Masone.

We were with friends in this characteristic tavern about 2 months ago, after reading articles on Gambero Rosso and Dissappore that praised their panna cotta, placing it among the best in Italy (in fact, it was amazing!) Then we ate truffles and left very satisfied, with the idea and desire to return to try other dishes on the menu. This evening we returned with our children and boyfriends for a family dinner and I am happy to say that expectations were largely met! The cuisine of this restaurant offers traditional dishes executed in an exemplary manner so as to take you back in time, unlocking the memory of the dishes cooked by your mother or grandmother. Eggnog is out of this world! The owners are nice and welcoming and the waitress is very nice. Unfortunately, it's not very easy to reach, but we will definitely return as soon as possible. Il ristorante offre cibo di ottima qualità, con portate che esaltano la tradizione culinaria ligure. L’ambiente è curato e accogliente, sebbene lo stile degli arredi risulti un po’ datato. Particolarmente apprezzabile la pulizia impeccabile del bagno, indice di attenzione al dettaglio. Il servizio si distingue per velocità ed efficienza: i piatti arrivano puntuali e ben caldi, contribuendo a un’esperienza culinaria complessivamente piacevole. Tuttavia, durante il servizio, il personale tende a spingere con insistenza sulla vendita di portate aggiuntive, contorni, dessert e bevande. Questo atteggiamento, che sembra mirato più ad aumentare l’incasso che a garantire la piena soddisfazione del cliente, può risultare fastidioso. I prezzi, infine, appaiono piuttosto elevati, soprattutto se rapportati alla posizione del locale nell’entroterra e al contesto complessivo.
