We wanted to try a few restaurants during our week-long vacation, but settled on this one. Very friendly, personal, competent service, and every meal was excellent. We ended up staying for two more days because of the great weather, but we were also looking forward to two more lovely evenings there! Warm regards from Bavaria

Our group of 8 friends showed up unannounced and they welcomed us in with gusto. The host and server were very attentive and the food was delicious. Nice cozy atmosphere and worth the short walk to get there.

19/10/2025: We were there for five days in mid-October. The reception was very warm and offered help with every question. The staff was excellent and friendly. The rooms, pool, sauna, and actually the entire hotel were very clean. The food was simply excellent. The location was great, with a bus stop right nearby, as were shops. We will definitely go back.

Restaurant Hotel Lichtenstern

08/11/2025: A beautiful hotel in a wonderfully quiet location with a fantastic view. The breakfast was very varied and left nothing to be desired. The evening menu was also delicious. The staff was very friendly. This was our first stay at the Lichtenstern, but it certainly won't be our last.
06/11/2025: A lovely hotel with spacious and modernly furnished rooms. We had a mountain view, which is absolutely stunning in good weather. The hotel's location offers not only beautiful views but also peace and quiet and easy access to the Ritten cable car. The food is good, and the breakfast buffet is particularly wonderful, especially when enjoyed in the sun on the terrace while taking in the mountain views. And when the incredibly friendly and helpful Erika is serving you! The warm, welcoming service is one of the hotel's greatest strengths – as are the hiking tips from the knowledgeable owner. We didn't use the spa area, as the swimming pool is being renovated until summer. What could be improved? A bit more variety at dinner (half-board) and freeing the enormous fish from the much too small aquarium.
