Da Michele In Roma

A fabulous old fashioned Italian restaurant we visited Rome 2weeks ago and ate 3 days in a row there. The artichoke was amazing and so was all the other dishes we had. Great atmosphere and great waiters.

Great food for very decent prices and very friendly staff!

First evening in Rome, after the car journey, very tired, we go down from the building where we had the room and go in search of a pizzeria blindly, we turn the corner and see this little restaurant that also makes pizza, we go in, ask for a table for 2 and we are greeted by a fantastic aroma. We sit down and they immediately come to take the order, an Italian appetizer, accompanied by a fabulous focaccia, 3 pizzas and a dessert for two. Everything was fantastic, delicious and very light pizza, so much so that my partner ate 2 of them, amazing tiramisu and very kind staff. This evening we are happy to return for an encore since, unfortunately, we return tomorrow. We will certainly return to Rome and, certainly, also return to eat at Da Michele.

I've had dinner there many times, the pizza is excellent, very thin as I like it. I often get it to take away too. Spaghetti with clams and grilled sea bream are very good.

Lovely place, perfect food and service thanks to Rachele who knew how to manage the service and output of the dishes at the top. Well done! I will return when I come to Pisa!

Recommended to us and it was worth the visit. The eggplant parmignana as appetizer was very good. The prima piatti were very good too - amatriciana and cacio e pepe the best we've had in Roma. The service was attentive and professional, but the dishes came out fast. We felt a little rushed as they cleared every plate very quickly, that is the only note. It's worth going there, quite nice.

Short Version: VERY good food. TOP notch services, and VERY reasonable price. Willing to come again and again. Long Version: We originally planned for a different restaurant near by but it was closed due to holiday. Stumbled upon Ristorante da Michele which turned out to be more than we expected. Context: we had 6 adults + 2 children + 3 toddlers which is a large party for Italy restaurant in general. 1. Entering w/o reservation we were greeted by few older gentlemen's waiter which were super nice. They waved & said ciao to our kids that made them comfortable. They were able to seat us almost immediately. 2. Upon seated, they offered still water & asked if we want to immediately order some red sauce pasta for the kids. We were amazed how immediate and helpful they were knowing kids are hungry. This was a HUGE plus for us. 3. Overall food was phenomenal. Carbonara, seafood pasta, even kids's simple red tomato sauce penne were amazing. All 5 kids finished their penne + wanting more. This says a lot. At the very end the price was ~$130 euro for all of the food & 3 beers we ordered. Everyone was shocked by the price tag and everyone left super impressed. We would be willing to come again in the next trip! FYI - I don't write many reviews but we all think this one deserve one.

Ristorante romano vero. Tutto quello che abbiamo gustato su suggerimento di Gianluca, contitolare del ristorante, è stato impeccabile e squisito. Prezzo onesto. Siamo rimasti ultrasoddisfatti sia del cibo che dell'ospitalità e servizio. Non posso dire altro che bene di questo locale. Ci ritorneremo di sicuro

Contattato per la vicinanza al teatro brancaccio ci assicurano subito la possibilità di cenare nei tempi per assistere allo spettacolo. Personale gentile, disponibile, simpatico e attento alle esigenze del cliente. Ottima carne e soprattutto il tiramisù. Consigliatissimo per cena pre-spettacolo e non solo.
