I've been here many times and it's always a guarantee of quality and courtesy. Fresh fish, carefully prepared and tasty dishes, attentive service, always with a smile. A place I'll definitely return to!

You can never go wrong. The best fried food I've eaten in years.

A guarantee every time we come back, and a truly pleasant experience. Everything is perfect, the staff makes you feel at home. As for the food, I really don't know what to recommend: the appetizers are excellent, the first courses are exquisite, the second courses are refined, and the desserts are delicious. We'll be back soon.

I was disappointed with the seafood spaghetti: the sauce was salty, the spaghetti overcooked, and, most importantly, it was full of mussels and missing a single clam. The lobster and shrimp were absolutely a no-no because they were difficult to handle and the intestines weren't clean. What a shame!

The perfect morning on the beach ended with a delightful lunch at Matteo's, in a refined and elegant setting. Superlative dishes, and the house white wine was also very pleasant. I'll be back!

We'd heard about this place and wanted to try it, without booking on a Sunday lunch. The welcome was friendly but a bit rushed, perhaps because there was only one person serving. The place is unique; the double staircase is beautiful, but the furnishings are starting to look a bit dated, especially the upholstered chairs, which have lost their padding and become sagging and uncomfortable after a while. I'm not sure what the huge ceramic fish on the tables have to do with everything else, but I'll go with it. Let's get to the important thing: the food. We ate well, the cod was excellent, and the gratin was tasty and unique (though I'd recommend varying the vegetables more and leaving out the crabs, which are awkward to eat; in my opinion, they make little sense with the breading). Next came the risotto, well-cooked and tasty, but presented in a way that left us feeling a bit unsatisfied. The portion was far too generous, but it was thrown onto the plate haphazardly; it should have been served with a little more care...looks matter too. A young wine accompanied the meal nicely. The prices are a little higher than average, but that's acceptable for the dishes served. The downside, however, is the cover charge. €5 per person seemed way too much, and with the limited staff, the service suffered a bit. We'll be back to try other dishes, hopefully with a little more attention to detail.
