Absolutely a must go to Maria! Restaurant in the Ligurian hinterland, in Vessalico, place of production of formidable garlic! The restaurant offers a menu from €40 per person and they bring you endless high quality food with 0 km ingredients, drink as much as you want! Spectacular!

Mangiato tanto, ma veramente tanto. Gli antipasti non finivano più e poi ancora tre diversi primi, e poi ancora tra diversi secondi, e pure il dolce. E tutto buono, che è la cosa fondamentale del discorso. Tutti piatto del territorio, ricette classiche. Magari qualcuna potrebbe essere un po' rivisitata per dare un tocco di modernità che un po' manca, ma è giusto un particolare. Il lato se vogliamo un po' negativo è che stare 4 ore di fila a tavola è pesante; in certi momento l'attesa è stata veramente un po' troppa, ma d'altra parte le conduzione è chiaramente familiare, dal che anche il buon rapporto qualità prezzo. Molto molto bello il giardino per la bella stagione, ma una faticaccia per i camerieri che ogni volta devono andare su e giù per la scala. Mi permetto una nota: ho notato che al livello del giardino c'è la cambusa, e subito sopra la cucina; un bel buco sul pavimento e via di montacarichi. Ma anche solo per portar via i piatti sporchi, ma vuoi mettere? Strano che non ci abbiano pensato perchè comunque di coperti ne hanno e tutto quello che aiuta dovrebbe essere fatto. Così così i vini della casa, rosso Ormeasco (non mi piace proprio) e bianco Pigato (meglio). Io penserei ad un classico fusto di frizzantino Moltelvini, non costa caro ed aiuterebbe molto la digestione, riducendo anche il fiume d'acqua in bottiglia che inevitabilmente viene bevuto. E' vero che molti locali lo usano, ma ci sarà un motivo no? Non so quando ci torneremo, ma sicuramente capiterà.

Really good from drinking to eating...... after 11 starters and a first course each, we asked for dessert and they brought us a taste of the desserts, they were for 5 people and the two of us will be back for the second courses

Excellent cuisine, rustic and always very well attended. Absolute recommendation, it’s also worth traveling further afield.

Go there at least once. The food is very very good, the staff super nice and friendly. A Sunday, a fantastic lunch. Take the afternoon off and savor, share this moment with whoever you want!
