Unbeatable cuisine, but Sunday management needs rethinking ​I often return to Ivano in Pianventena because the quality of the food is always guaranteed, but today's experience left a bitter taste in my mouth due to the service. We arrived at 12:30, but we started lunch an hour later. The wait was understandable, but the dining room management was decidedly poor. ​What didn't work: ​Rude service: One waitress in particular was decidedly brusque. Instead of apologizing for the delay in our entrees, she almost tried to force us to order appetizers and main courses, even pressuring us to order a single entree for all adults. ​"Ghost" menu: Many dishes were unavailable, but we only discovered this after choosing. ​A tip for the restaurant: For Sunday lunch, it would be much more honest and effective to offer a simplified menu directly rather than the full one. It would avoid raising expectations that are later disappointed, and it would make the dining room more efficient. The quality remains unsurpassed, but the place clearly struggles on Sundays. We'll definitely be back, but on quieter days to enjoy the cuisine as it deserves.

The food is commendable, polenta with mussels and venison chicken.. Generous portions, affordable prices.. At 10pm the restaurant is full of people..😊

We've been regulars at this restaurant for a few years now (about 4): the food is excellent, the service is great! A welcoming restaurant with a family atmosphere...and that's exactly why I'm writing! My husband and I went for dinner this past Saturday for Valentine's Day...the food, as always, was excellent, but there was a nasty scene that we really didn't like, just in bad taste! In the main room, there was a table full of adults in costume (I think it was for Carnival), and so far, nothing wrong...because (if you have a minimum of decency) Carnival allows it, in fact, it's even a nice thing to celebrate in costume! But some people overdid it, falling into vulgarity! Specifically, there was a woman dressed as a cat, a feline (I don't know...) who was practically naked: she was wearing a completely see-through spotted catsuit with a black thong visible, and she was wandering around the room posing under the TV to take photos with her friends, all in front of couples, families with children, older people..... you can't imagine the discomfort!!! How disgusting!!! Truly vulgar and out of place especially!!!! Because "Da Ivano" is frequented by families and what characterizes it is precisely the family atmosphere it offers! I don't know if anyone had the courage to point it out (I first wanted to but I preferred not to ruin the evening!) but we certainly weren't the only ones who felt DISCOMFORTABLE (in fact, everyone was making negative comments with disgusted expressions!). It was a special date and this "lapse in style" was definitely not needed!! There are places and places and this was certainly not the right place! But what about respect for others???

The atmosphere is simple yet friendly. Everything on the menu is excellent. There's ample parking right next door.

There was a lot of confusion in managing the reservations....We were seated after 40 minutes and began lunch after another 30....The dishes served proved to be of decent quality. To keep costs low, it's necessary to consider generous portions; otherwise, the cost per person risks exceeding expectations. Unfortunately, we weren't adequately informed about this by the person serving us.
