Excellent and beautiful restaurant in Trastevere. Small, with a family atmosphere. Delicious food and excellent service. Caterina, one of the owners, speaks perfect Spanish and is charming. We also managed to have dinner on a Saturday night without a reservation. We have repeated and we will do it again! Thank you mile.

We found this restaurant while wandering around looking for something typical and I must say that we "fell" very well. My wife and I ate there and were highly recommended by the young girl who served us. Fried artichokes, Giudia style artichoke accompanied by a wonderful and tasty dish of chicory. Then Roman gnocchi and spaghetti with cacio e pepe. In addition to the friendliness, friendliness and goodness of the food, also honest prices. We will definitely be back.

I went to the Da Gildo restaurant in Trastevere and I was really satisfied! The quality of the dishes is exceptional: very fresh and seasonal ingredients, enhanced by a simple but refined cuisine. We had a great lunch starting with the Patate Fritta, then the Green Beans with Olive Oil and Lemon…then we each had pasta dishes that were perfectly done….the staff was so friendly and helpful….this is a wonderful place for a meal in Trastevere!!!!

2024. Return 7 years later. Reconnect with the neighborhood that has changed so much but DaGildo is still there. Same flavor. Excellent treatment. / 2017. If you are in the Trastevere neighborhood and want to eat an authentic typical dish like a good Roman. Don't hesitate to go to DA GILDO, I wanted to try a good carbonara and it was delicious here. I count the days until I return to that place. Terrace in Summer that transports you to the most authentic part of the neighborhood, its light, its people, the suffocating Roman "broth" of summer. It was #Fantasy. There were mosquitoes, yes. If you have the opportunity to try the artichokes, which are a star dish of the restaurant, try them; We were out of season. Call before booking.
