This is where you have to go for the best pasta in Rome. I particularly recommend the black truffle pasta. The locals know it well: you'll mostly meet Romans in this small, discreet family restaurant.

The BEST amatriciana! Went back on another trip there and tried it again. It was just as good. My friend had the truffle tortellini and it was divine.

Excellent food, super friendly service and a fun atmosphere. The team were very accommodating, and the food was excellent. And to end the meal, I think that was the best tiramisu I’ve ever had. Definitely book ahead as it was packed.

Excellent service, classic Italian meal. All 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Service was excellent. Pretty reasonably priced for what we got.

Accepted a reservation for dinner but did not have enough tables. Made us sit on wobbly chairs along a street with smokers and passersby. The servers were attentive but the food was either too salty or not seasoned at all. Most of the specials were finished by 8:00 pm even though the dinner service began at 7:30 pm. The controni was served first as an individual serving even though it was requested with dinner. It is more of a bar than a dinner place. Servers were attentive and tried to improve the situation with putting the heater and arranging things.

A friend recommended this restaurant and we went out of our way to get there but it was worth it! The service was excellent and the food delicious. The wine list is to die for too, and takes up a whole book! If you fancy an E1.800 burgundy, or any other world class wine from all over the globe, this is the place for you! (Don't worry there are loads of normal wines and wines by the glass too!)

Historic 'osteria' in the Fico area, once with affordable prices, now transformed into a high-end restaurant. After years, I returned to eat a pizza, but opening the menu I immediately noticed the disproportionate increase in prices: first courses with an average of 20 euros, appetizers around 15 euros. Even the pizza is no exception, with a simple margherita at 12 euros, a price decidedly out of the market for the area and the target of the restaurant. When tasting, the pizzas did not convince me, especially for the quality of the mozzarella, not very satisfactory. Excellent wine list, but with high and difficult to justify markups. Positive note: the service, truly courteous and pleasant.
