Good food, however we got charged 17.5euros for JUST 3 meatballs. On average, you can have the same good food in other trattorias with much more reasonable prices. Will most likely prefer the others in the future.

The pasta is good, I have to admit, but the price is outrageous. There are plenty of places in Trastevere where the food is really good and you won't be shocked by the cost. And the tiramisu! The best you'll ever taste!

A great trattoria. We arrived before opening time and the staff served us while we were in line, offering drinks. The service was quick once we were inside. The daily specials were excellent, but the best dish was the Pasta Carbonara—it was fantastic. For the Christmas season, panettone is a must-have, whether for the table or to take away. Everything was very good. I would definitely return on my next trip to Rome.

The waiters were very nice, trying, perhaps a bit too hard, to please the tourists. The food was very average – the pumpkin blossom and anchovy appetizer was rather tasteless; the carbonara was tasty and classic; the oxtail and cocoa pasta wasn't impressive – I had high expectations for the flavor combinations, but the piece of meat was quite small, the anchovies weren't noticeable at all, the flavors didn't mix, and you couldn't taste all of them. The waiters didn't even suggest the daily special. If you get a table in the garden, go inside, because they have a whole board with other dishes, like carpaccio. The reviews on social media are exaggerated; it's definitely not a 5⭐️.

Enzo al 29 in Trastevere fully deserves its reputation. Excellent Roman cuisine, prepared with care and consistency. The pasta dishes are outstanding, ingredients are high quality, and portions are satisfying without excess.
Service is fast, efficient, and professional, even when the place is busy. The atmosphere is lively and genuinely Roman, not tourist driven.
A reliable benchmark for traditional Roman food in Trastevere. Strongly recommended.

We were there in mid-December when it was freezing, but with the heaters on, it was nice and cozy for dinner on the terrace. They don't take reservations, but the wait isn't too long. We ordered several dishes to share between two people and loved them: the artichoke flower, cacio e pepe, and the tiramisu were simply divine. The house wine was very good. And all the staff were very friendly. It's really cool.

Even though it's a tourist spot, it hasn't lost its Roman charm! Which wasn't easy with the influx of foreigners...a bit overpriced (but that's normal considering its fame). Impeccable, traditional food, friendly service, perfect Roman style. You have to try it at least once in your life, but I'd definitely go back a second or third time! Many of the staff are Roman, which makes you feel like you're in a genuine and authentic place, exactly what you look for when you're in Rome! Highly recommended!
