Hi everyone, I was there for lunch, not bad, the place is reserved for group or business dinners, prices are a little above average, they don't have a fixed menu but the dishes are plentiful, the service is excellent thanks to the friendliness of the host and his staff.

The location is simply beautiful, perfect for a romantic dinner or a relaxing lunch. The cuisine is the heart of the restaurant: traditional dishes prepared with the freshest, highest-quality ingredients. From the fragrant and creamy trofie with pesto to the excellent main courses, the fish is also not to be missed, expertly cooked and paired with local wines that bring out every nuance. Reservations are recommended, especially for evenings!

We had dinner on Thursday and honestly, we weren't satisfied with either the dishes (very limited) or the final price... a few appetizers (cuculli and panissa (always limited) and then a round of farinata (with gorgonzola and plain). It was scorchingly hot and at a table with very little seating and living space. The noise was so loud you couldn't hear what the person next door was saying. Two samples of ravioli (always limited). There were nine of us at the table and we argued a bit about the food (decent quality but nothing exciting). A normal restaurant. The waitresses were friendly.

This is really just my personal opinion. I'm sorry, but I can't be satisfied with the disappointing quality/price ratio. Located in a perfect spot above Sestri Ponente, nothing particularly beautiful, but not bad either. 2 rooms with as many seats as they can fit... Traditional set menu. Appetizers with objectively mediocre cured meats, stuffed with Genoese-style vegetables and stuffed with potatoes, which I disliked. The fish salad was flavorless, and the anchovies marinated in vinegar were very good. Good first courses: seafood risotto with pink shrimp, calamari, and mussels, good; Genoese-style ravioli, good. Mixed fried fish with the aforementioned fish, fried well. A slice of apple pie, tiramisu, or panna cotta, okay. The house wine is unpresentable; they only offer two bottles of red wine, one Dolcetto and one Barbera. My bill is €45 per person, plus the cost of wine and water. Of course, I'm used to spending that amount, but given the type of offer, I expected more...

Very satisfied. Excellent value for money. I will definitely be back.

We ate everything fish-based, with numerous hot and cold seafood appetizers that were truly delicious, not to mention the first courses and the grilled meat. A few days later, my son's birthday was celebrated with twenty of us, all super happy and treated wonderfully! Marco, July 20, 2025.
