We came for lunch on Ferragosto, and everything was delicious. We'd been wanting to try this place for a long time, after a friend recommended it to us. We finally got around to it, and it truly turned out to be an excellent restaurant. The food was excellent and plentiful, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and you felt right at home. Highly recommended. I hope to return soon.

Unimaginable seafood appetizers (fried anchovies and shrimp, cod, baby octopus stew, mixed fried fish, marinated salmon, oysters, and lobster served on a bed of fruit). And then your choice of first or second courses (which I didn't get to order)...

Wir hatten die Wohnung über dem Restaurant angemietet und lauschten jeden Morgen dem Gesang des Küchenchefs, was wir sehr sympathisch fanden. Ein Tisch war schnell reserviert. Da wir alles auf der Karte interessant fanden, wählten wir das Menü, 100 Euro für zwei Personen mit Getränken, da war von allem etwas dabei. Unsere Erwartungen wurden mehr als übertroffen. Die Speisen waren köstlich. Die Portionen waren mehr als reichlich, wir hatten den Eindruck, der Küchenchef hatte sich auf seine Tafel geschrieben" Bei mir zählt Qualität und meine Gäste werden satt". Bei uns blieben keine Wünsche offen. Sehr herzliche, familiäre Atmosphäre, nur Italiener, beste Stimmung, wir haben auch spontan am Nebentisch sehr nette Leute kennen gelernt. Und was wir nicht geschafft haben, wurde uns liebevoll eingepackt, und als give away gab es noch eine Limone aus dem eigenen Garten. Von uns eine uneingeschränkte Empfehlung . Wir sind beseelt und glücklich.

Come sempre una scelta speciale e non si sbaglia mai ! Impepata di cozze veramente unica, antipasti abbondanti ed ottimi, grigliata freschissima e di ottima porzione ! Se volessi proprio fare un appunto le cozze sono leggermente care…. Per il resto nulla da eccepire. Che dire ? Cenare da Carmelo è una certezza !!! Prezzi corretti con uno staff ultra gentile !
