The best restaurant in Palinuro. Beware of imitations. From raw to marinated. First courses: Spaghetti alla Carmelo takes center stage, a delicacy you'll never taste in any Italian restaurant, but the other scallops are equally as delicious. You'll be spoiled for choice. Second courses: from sea bass to tuna, from fried seafood to grilled seafood. Adele: you're always Number One. Ad maiora semper

How wonderful to return to Ristorante da Carmelo and once again discover Adele's consistently excellent cuisine! A delightful dinner, with flavorful dishes, elegantly presented, and accompanied by attentive, family-like service. The return of a great Cilento restaurant. By far the best restaurant in the area.

13/08/2025: I went for dinner, recommended by my brother, and I must confirm that everything was exactly as I'd hoped. The fish-based dinner was excellently cooked. It was all accompanied by a pleasant white wine. But what struck me most was the extremely fast service and the very friendly staff. I promised myself I'd return as soon as possible with my family. 17/08/2025: If I had to find just one word to describe this review, I'd say "Go!" The place is located in a square, and if you go during the day, there are umbrellas so you can eat in the shade. It's a family-run restaurant, and everyone is incredibly friendly. The food is simple in ingredients, but exquisite in flavor. The price, as you can see from the photo, is very reasonable for the quality of the fish and the food. There's even free parking just a few steps from the restaurant, among the many nearby streets. I highly recommend going, and I'll definitely be back as soon as I can. I also recommend the tuna and mint pasta, because it's a combination you're unlikely to find elsewhere. If you're still deciding, call and book—don't worry.
