What can I say? We had a great time. Marco, the owner, makes the customer feel at ease. The dishes arrived shortly after we ordered them and were impeccable. You can see and taste that they aren't made on the spot with quality ingredients and cooked very well! I highly recommend them. The prices are very competitive and accessible to everyone!

I had the pleasure of eating at Da Balestra in Piombino, and the experience was truly positive. The restaurant is welcoming, well-maintained, and has a warm atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at ease. The real stars are the pasta dishes, prepared with fresh homemade pasta: authentic flavors, generous portions, and quality ingredients that are evident in every bite. Really good food at a decent price. The menu isn't typical restaurant offerings, venison fillet with chestnuts and porcini, or caccio pepe with mussels. Both were excellent, along with the antipasti di terra.

The special purple cabbage risotto cooked in a jar, and the venison sirloin with mushrooms, chestnuts, and Jerusalem artichokes—a perfect choice. We'll definitely be back to try the exotic meat and other risottos! The host, a combination of passion and kindness, is always a pleasure. It's a shame we're not friends and can't invite each other to dinner at our homes! At Balestra, every dish is a celebration, and every recommended wine is a pleasure for the palate. One thing that saddens us is that the host is an Inter Milan fan, but the customer, with affection, forgives him for this major flaw.

02/11/2025: Quiet lunch, excellent food, ditto wine, very knowledgeable and friendly staff, above-average quality/price ratio. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
19/10/2025: We only had an aperitivo, but it was truly fantastic! Lured by the cocktail menu featuring local products, we couldn't resist and made the right choice: spectacular! and fabulous appetizers! Even though there were at least a dozen of us and they have small tables, they quickly set up a large table for us. The staff was friendly, attentive, and thoughtful in explaining and accommodating our requests. We will be happy to return.

31/10/2025: We stayed at this campsite for 3 days, with a beautiful beach and wingfoiling on a 7m and 4.2m sail. I recommend it.
17/10/2025: Very good pizza, very friendly staff, would definitely go back!
