Every time I go to Naples, I often go there for a good sfogliatella.

Absolutely delicious coffee and croissant. During my trip to Naples I frequented this place for espresso, croissant, and sfogliatella. The staff is super nice and the food is delicious ❤️

The Sfogliatella Vesuvio and stuffed babà are excellent! The coffee shop is a bit less so... And there's no seating... Nice place and normal prices.

Cuori di Sfogliatella is absolutely one of those places you must stop by. From the moment you enter, the aroma of freshly baked sfogliatelle fills the air — buttery, delicate, inviting. This bakery/pasticceria truly delivers an authentic taste of Neapolitan pastry tradition. First off, the sfogliatella here are exceptional. The sfogliatella riccia has those perfectly crisp, layered “leaves” on the outside, and the inside is filled with just the right‐balance creamy ricotta/semolina filling — rich without being overly sweet. If you prefer something softer, the frolla version is lovely too. They also experiment with different fillings: there are options like pistachio, pear, and lemon among others.  The gelato (ice cream) here is also highly recommended – creamy, smooth, and not cloyingly sweet. If you enjoy something refreshing or a dessert with texture, this is a great choice. The bakery doesn’t overdo the sugar; everything feels well balanced, letting the pastry and filling quality come through. The coffee is a perfect match: strong, aromatic, well made. It pairs beautifully with the pastries and adds to the overall experience. Don’t expect fancy latte art, but expect real, satisfying, quality espresso or cappuccino. What really seals the deal is the service. Staff here are friendly, helpful, and seem genuinely proud of what they do — which matters a lot. The atmosphere is warm and inviting; yes, it has a busy, bustling energy (especially with tourists and locals alike), but it never feels rushed or impersonal. Given all this — delicious pastries, excellent gelato, good coffee, and attentive service — I’d rate Cuori di Sfogliatella 5 stars without hesitation. It’s one of those spots where you feel you’re getting more than just food; you’re getting a slice of Naples’ sweet heritage. Definitely one of my favorite dessert/pastry places in the city.

Cuor di Sfogliatella, on Via Toledo, immediately struck me as a very touristy place due to the products they offer, with sfogliatelle in a wide variety of flavors, both sweet (very questionable) and savory. However, I was too curious, so I tried their rustic sfogliatelle, which turned out to be a pleasant surprise. I had one with eggplant and provola and one with Nerano cheese. Even when I picked them up, I could tell, from their considerable weight, that they were loaded with seasoning. Indeed, they were like "hand grenades," and the filling was insanely delicious. Definitely worth trying again.

It's a difficult experience. To buy something, you first have to wade through all the people ordering to get to the checkout. Once there, the cashier charges you for the items you're going to eat, and then you can order them. In our case, they charged us for items they didn't have, like coconut sfogliatella. And when we asked for it, they didn't have any more. I wanted another sfogliatella filled with cream, and they told me only pistachio or chocolate, when they also had cream. When I asked, the girl acted clueless and sent us away, without a good afternoon, a see you later, or a smile. You can clearly see the lack of interest from the people in serving you kindly, in offering you whatever you want, but perhaps it's because it's not a good work environment or they charge too little, so I don't judge them. But there are surely many more places in Naples that make better sfogliatellas with more variety. This place is already more commercial.

The best sfogliatella I've ever eaten in Naples. The selection is vast, including sweet and savory sfogliatelle, and it's also a great place to enjoy a delicious coffee!

Assaggiate sia quelle dolci che quelle salate. Enorme quella al ragu'. Buonissime queele alla pastiera, al bacio e al cocco. Ti sazi gia' con una.
