So glad we found this restaurant! You can tell Chef George puts in his heart in preparing every meal. The octopus is fresh and tender. So is iberico pork - tender and flavorful. The prawns on rice is umami and a delight for the eyes. Chef George shares generously on how he makes his black focaccia ( the best I’ve had on this trip). Will come back again if I return to Genoa. 👍👍👍

The best restaurant in Genoa and beyond. Davide is the best chef!! Every dish is thoughtful and complex, always a compliment...great atmosphere. The restaurant deserves a Michelin star. There's always a seasonal menu and an excellent wine selection. Thanks to Davide and his team for everything!!

Con l'occasione di una cena tra amiche provo questo ristorante di cui avevo già sentito ottime recensioni! La realtà supera l aspettativa! Dall ottimo pane e focaccia made home, il polpo su crema di patate con il mix croccante e morbido del polpo delizioso! I ravioli di gamberi con pesto di pistacchio dove si sente per davvero il ripieno di gambero ed è la prima volta che mi capita! Il tonno sublime e l ampia scelta di dolce dove si fatica a sceglierne uno! Lo chef impeccabile nel consiglio vini e nel seguire il tavolo!

04/01/2026: A magnificent experience, to say the least. Supreme quality food. A classy and elegant location. The volume was very low, so you could talk with ease, which is not a given these days. Plus, the service was spectacular. I wholeheartedly recommend you go.

12/01/2026: Fantastic experience ! Had a short break in Genoa with my wife in early January and ended up going to Zeffirino's on three different occasions. Everything was top class from the ambiance through to the service from professional, knowledgeable waiters serving beautifully cooked and presented plates of food. Sumptuous pasta and sea food dishes rounded off with a medley of melt in your mouth desserts and of course their signature home made Pistachio ice-cream (the finest ice-cream we have ever eaten) Compliments to all the staff that made are visits so memorable. Bravo! Highly recommend.
