Traveling through Rome with my family, the best place I've ever been. Local food, very far from what the typical tourist place usually offers. Very good food with a reasonable price. The service was very good and friendly. A 100% recommendable place and one that will definitely make you want to come back.

We had one of the best pastas in Rome at Cucina Pepe. Affordable, tasty and frequented by locals. We dined here twice during our visit on recommendation of our Airbnb host and absolutely loved it!

Delicious food, impeccable service with lots of attention to the customer and details. We had dinner at Cucina Pepe on a Sunday evening, and had a great time! Nice portions and excellent value for money. We had such a good time that we wanted to go back the next evening but they were closed for the rest day. We will definitely return as soon as we have the opportunity.

It's such a charming place Two friendly couples and the atmosphere of the restaurant was nice throughout as it seemed to be a good restaurant in the area!! All the food we ordered was very delicious and made for a happy Roman night! Recommended recommended!!!

I made a reservation at 7:30 and went a little early, and even though it was not business hours, they gave me a meal. The owner was very kind. The food was really delicious and generous. The grilled sea bream was also delicious and the price was reasonable.

Great food in a cozy place away from tourists. We had delicious caccio e Pepe, a pasta with lemon and pistachio and for dessert tiramisu and a cream and apple bun. Very good attention too. Totally recommended

Ci è capitato per caso di prenotare questo ristorante per comodità dopo il teatro Ambra Jovinelli che è giusto lì affianco. Locale semplice, servizio rapido e cortese. Menù piuttosto ampio, ottimi i carciofi e i primi, trippa alla romana eccellente. Buona la carta dei vini. Prezzo contenuto. Proprio buono e non costoso: bella sorpresa.

20/01/2025: We had the pleasure of dining at Santa Cristina on our last evening in Rome, and it was an unforgettable experience. The restaurant is small and charming, with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home. The food was exceptional – every dish was beautifully prepared, but the highlight for us was the onion and cheese lasagna. It was one of the best dishes we’ve had in Italy, full of rich flavors and perfect textures. The service was outstanding, and the owner Enrico was incredibly kind and attentive. It’s clear that this restaurant is run with love and a genuine passion for hospitality and great food. If you’re looking for an authentic and intimate dining experience in Rome, we highly recommend Santa Cristina. This hidden gem deserves to be discovered by anyone who appreciates excellent Italian cuisine!
