Cucina Elementare In Livorno

Booked on Saturday morning for the evening with a 20% discount. A menu featuring Apulian and Campanian cuisine. For two, we had an appetizer with cured meats and products from Tuscany, Puglia, and Calabria, dairy products (smoked burrata and treccia) that weren't very fresh and flavorless, average oil-packed cured meats, and pre-packaged cured meats. All accompanied by puccia, fried pasta, and fritters. Priced at €20 (I'd say high). Followed by two well-filled Apulian pucce. Two local craft beers (cans) and a bottle of water. Service was quick and efficient (we were the first ones in). The restaurant is cute and well-decorated in a style reminiscent of Puglia, located in the Venezia neighborhood. I'd say it was a sufficient dinner, but the price for an appetizer and two pucce is steep: €60! On the downside, we left smelling of fried food!

I was looking for a gluten-free restaurant because my wife is celiac, and by browsing Google I found it among the top ten gluten-free restaurants in Livorno. What can I say? Excellent, I felt right at home, which is why when you go out you have to be careful about gluten. The dishes are excellent, with attention to every detail, and the service is also excellent. I highly recommend it as a restaurant, and I'm super satisfied.

Looking for a place to eat during our sightseeing tour of the Venezia Nuova district, we passed in front of this place. Overcoming my natural reluctance at the French word "gourmand" written on the menu board (but "gourmet" would have been worse!), we read the list and it seemed to offer a good choice of seafood and meat, with a nice mix of dishes from Puglia, Campania and Livorno. Luckily they found us a table right away even without a reservation. We wanted a quick and light meal, so we ordered gnocchi alla sorrentina and pasta with white seafood ragu, both good and in decent portions. Then a nice Apulian panzerotto to share, all washed down with a bottle of beer. Good food, courteous and sufficiently quick service, tidy restrooms. Final bill was 44 euros, with a 2 euro cover charge per person. I'd say it all went well.

Fantastic cuisine, it's like going back to the old days with grandmothers' cooking🥰 super friendly service, everything was good, the coffee was exceptional and I really liked the mise en place 💛💙🧡

We had a terrific meal punctuated with wonderful, friendly service. We decided to try numerous items on the menu and each appetizer and entree ordered from swordfish tartar and seafood pasta to the dessert sampler was very well presented and delicious. If I was staying in Livorno or come back we would eat here again.

Very cute restaurant with perfect food. Paste was fresh and the flavoues were amazing. Owners were very kind. Defenitely a reconmandation if you you want to eat good italian food
