This is the famous trattoria with home-style food you've always been looking for. The ladies in the kitchen know their stuff, and the waitress was the sweetest and most patient person I've ever met. Everything was delicious! My pork rind roll was a delight. The cod with cabbage and the gnocchi alla Sorrentina were equally delicious. It's a far cry from the burgers at those restaurants thronging Vomero. Give me a break. This is Naples!

Today for lunch we went to the trattoria da Peppe where we ate an appetizer for 2 people consisting of: fried polenta, arancini, pasta crescere and crocche'; the quantity was just right and we liked it. Followed by two first courses specifically "Lo scarpariello": good. We concluded with two slices of lemon caprese (very good and genuine) accompanied by an excellent limoncello! Conclusion: I recommend it!

23/12/2025: I am shocked by a negative review, for a place that for 33 years has never, ever disappointed you. Always excellent products, always impeccable service, always excellent quality/price, I have been going there for 33 years with my family and friends, always hosted all family celebrations, always impeccable, last dinner with my family 11 people all satisfied, with dishes always worthy of the excellent cuisine. Other restaurants, to avoid falling into this disrespect on the part of those who book and then cancel, take an advance payment. Show respect to those who have been doing their job in the best way for 33 years
