The Crotto ai Castagneti Restaurant is an experience not to be missed!
We really enjoyed the authentic home cooking and the beautiful mountain views.
The lady who welcomed us was uniquely friendly, making us feel at home straight away.
The food was delicious, as was the wine.
We were there on a Saturday and found a fixed menu, which offered an excellent selection of traditional dishes. Highly recommended!

I was especially surprised by the courtesy of the staff... The dishes are average, which means good, the menu is fixed (at least on weekends) but very broad and with many possibilities of choice within it. Bulk wine, white, red and also rosé as well as a wine list. They also accept dogs so definitely 5 stars. We'll be back

Non è la prima volta che vado e mi trovo sempre bene, di il 4 perché non mi sono piaciuti i pizzoccheri troppo salati e patate crude. Il resto perfetto molto pulito staff cordiale e panorama mozzafiato

The place is welcoming and the waitress very nice and kind
The food didn't excite me apart from a couple of dishes
Tagliatelle, game ragout and dessert were promoted, while Pizzoccheri and braised meat disappointed me (for my taste the sauce tasted completely like celery and covered everything)
The fixed price menu (it's not exactly cheap because drinks and cover charge are excluded) and you are forced to take two courses even if you could do without them. You have to take this into account if you are not particularly hungry. (I'm not discussing the choice, everyone does what is right for their own business).

We spent a very pleasant evening accompanied by truly delicious food.
Super friendly and attentive staff, impeccable service, warm and welcoming place.
Prices are more than fair and honest given the quality of the products and the generous portions.
€90 for 2 with 2 starters, 2 first courses, shank with polenta and mushrooms, 2 waters and 2 desserts.
Everything was excellent, I recommend booking and we will definitely return. Thanks and see you next time :)
