After a walk around town we went to this place to try the pizza. Very good pizza. Nice and friendly staff. We will definitely be back.

We had lunch at this pizzeria in the historic center of Mantua with a group of friends and we had a great time! No waiting even though we were more people, fast and friendly service. The pizza was really excellent: light dough, well cooked and with quality ingredients. The central location makes it perfect for an evening with friends after a walk through the beauties of the city.

Update 2025: New Scugnizzi management! Neapolitan pizza known throughout the province. The proposal is in line with the other locations as well as the quality. If you like contemporary Neapolitan pizza, this is the place for you. The only thing that in my opinion is neither in heaven nor on earth is the 7 euros required for EIGHT zeppole. Guys... it's fried pasta with seaweed inside. Until some time ago (Location Buscoldo and Monatanara) they would bring you at least double the amount for 5 euros. 4 euros for omelettes is borderline. In short, the starters are a fail for me. Not so much for the quality but for the quantity/price ratio. Be careful because it is not possible to reserve a table (the place is not very large). The only way is to go there and get put on the list and... wait. Fast service once seated. Response to the owner: The short circuit of your speech becomes apparent when you compare the price of a pizza (on average, 10 euros) compared to the price of 10 zeppole (in my case 8, I counted them, for 7 euros). The load is objectively very high on the latter. If this is what "making doing business sustainable" is about... well, I take note. However, it remains an excessive price given the type of product given the small quantity. I doubt it will ruin you to put 5 or 6 more. If people then order and consume anyway, good for you. If you are a lover of real pizza and appreciate the quality of the ingredients, this pizzeria is the place for you. From the moment I walked in, I could smell the freshly baked dough. The staff are friendly and you can tell they love what they do; the atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant. It is definitely a place I will return to because once you try the pizza with real ingredients, everything else seems like a copy.
