Creperie Salvo & Isabella In Bronte

When 5 stars aren't enough. First, a word of warning. It's been a few months since this already excellent street food spot stopped serving. It's the first time I've noticed the eye-catching sign for a one-room osteria, furnished with understated and elegant taste where nothing stands in the way, with just a few tables for a few (lucky) gourmets. The menu is limited to four or five dishes per course, so choosing one might be overwhelming. None of the dishes I've tried are less than excellent. An extraordinary chef with enviable experience, and the lady who runs the dining room is empathetic and courteous. Even the prices aren't prohibitive, especially considering such quality. It's worth returning to try what you missed the first time. As far as I'm concerned, one of the most beautiful dinners I've ever had. Seeing is believing. Hats off.

A small restaurant serving local specialties revisited with skill and artistry. Flavors are exceptionally well-matched and tastefully presented. Fair prices reflect the excellent quality of the wine (the house wine is excellent). The condiment oils and liqueurs are also noteworthy.
