Good food. Very friendly and prompt service. Good value for money. Tables are a bit close together.

Typically Sicilian. Lasagna and parmiggiana, plus bruschetta made alla mamma siciliana beforehand. Organic Femina red wine, all at 4:00 p.m.! Highly recommended. We'd be happy to go again.

We really enjoyed the service and the food. Freshly made and served nice and hot. The 2 soups we had very vegetarian and very tasty. The pasta and the sauce were great too.

The food was decent, but the price-quality ratio wasn't great. The service was uninterested. Walk 1 km to the Stella di Mare restaurant at Hotel UNA. Exactly the same food, better wine, and even a dessert buffet (we didn't have that at Osteria Cotto Mangioto). Great location (on the beach), much better atmosphere, and dessert included for the exact same price. Truly much, much better.

We went to four restaurants all in close proximity to this one and we repeatedly came back here. It was by far the best quality and friendliest service.

We stopped in for lunch yesterday and were very pleased with both the warm welcome and the delicious food. We ordered lasagna and spaghetti, both delicious. We'll be back! I'd especially like the service and the friendly staff. It felt like visiting friends.

Delicious lasagna and tiramisu for dessert. Three wasps came to bother us, but the waitress arrived with lit coffee powder. The smoke made the wasps go away and they stayed away. It was fantastic! Great service.

The food is tasteless or has a taste that is not what it should be. You can't make carbonara pasta properly, no matter how much salt or pepper I put in, I still didn't give them any special taste. And the parmesan that was brought to me as an extra was actually Swiss cheese to taste so it occurs to me that the pasta didn't have the parmesan either, which is why they didn't have the right taste. Lasagna was the best dish ordered out of the 3 courses. The pasta bolognese and those were thin. The meat was mostly missing.

I don't write reviews but this place gets one. We visited on a Friday night and Saturday night around 8pm early Sept. The place was just over 3/4 full. Two wait staff efficiently serving many tables. Their dishes were so good the first night it was a no brainier to go the second night. Staff is efficient and attentive when requested, I appreciated this. Service in Sicily is different than in the US, once you understand that then you're going to have a much better experience. If you have an issue or need something, just ask, don't wait for something to happen. Food, we had the Caponata, Lasagna, Sicilian salad, spaghetti with clams and one of the pizzas - zero complaints, all very good. This is the first place we're all of the deserts looked amazing. I wish we could have had them all. I appreciated this place, the availability (during the season) and the people there. Ohhh, if you like spicy, ask for the peperoncino oil. I think Calabrian chilis in oil, so simple, so good!
