Very nice and well-located restaurant. The food is generally very good. Dishes are well-prepared. Service is so-so. We chose it because we needed gluten-free options, but there wasn't much choice. Prices are obviously above average. Overall, a good choice.

A lovely calm spot for dinner with delicious pasta, fresh vegetables, and even complementary prosecco. The tiramisu was one of the best we tried on our whole trip. Service was great as well.

Looking for a non-touristy restaurant in Trastevere, we booked this long-established osteria. With four children and a celiac, the dinner menu didn't look easy. Instead, we were greeted by very kind and helpful staff. We started with appetizers of artichokes, puntarelle, and bruschetta, followed by carbonara and amatriciana. For the main course, baked cheek, with potatoes, Roman meatballs, and porcini mushrooms, was divine. The children were thrilled, and my celiac wife was happy to be looked after by a young chef, Alessandro, who was extremely attentive, professional, and kind. He personally came to the table to discuss the menu with her. What can I say? An excellent dinner and experience in Rome. The true "Roman carbonara" for all ages and tastes. We'll be back on our next trip to Rome!!! See you next time!!!

Excellent experience to be repeated

Really great place in transtevere the mushrooms antipasti and the artichokes alla Romana absolutely to die for. Staff was great and they had the tennis match on the big screen.

Serna was exceptionally polite and pleasant, and we genuinely enjoyed the service☺️☺️

This place tells a story: the meeting of tradition and that touch of "light" and unobtrusive innovation that gives it a distinct identity. I say "light" to avoid innovation, which sometimes leads to traditional dishes being overturned... that doesn't happen here; the ingredients are respected, but the chef's touch truly makes the difference. The staff is welcoming, knowledgeable, and knows what's served from experience, which is uncommon for someone like me who is allergic to garlic and is used to being told: "I'll ask in the kitchen!" The dishes are truly delicious, from appetizers to desserts... the ingredients are excellent. I've read some reviews that, while not negative, are lacking in knowledge, because in Trastevere many expect "just" a trattoria, with abundant and nice heavy dishes... but there's much more! Regarding the slowness, as some have commented, the dishes are cooked to order... is it worth the wait? Yes. We'll be back on Sunday, and we'll be happy to!!! Of course 😀highly recommended!

lot of tourist traps in Trastevere but this place is legit - we had saltimbocca and the steak with porcini special - they source stuff properly and care about quality in the wine and meat they serve. The locals know this. Manager is a great host and the waiters are knowledgeable and friendly, fluent in English and Italian.

Great little stop with beautiful atmosphere and the food was great. All food we tried was full of flavor, fresh, and delicious
