Convinci In Vinci

I recently dined at Con Vinci, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. What truly set this restaurant apart, though, was the outstanding service. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. They were knowledgeable about the menu and happy to offer recommendations.

We reached the restaurant on foot, parking nearby. Few tables inside, a few more seats outside. Positive experience, excellent I would say. We stopped by "accidentally". The place closed 10 minutes later, we asked if we still had time and were greeted with a smile on our faces. Basic menu but one that satisfies carnivores, vegetarians, vegans or intolerants. The wine list is unique: once the color has been chosen, the owner offers a tasting among three alternatives; .what we liked most accompanied us during the meal. We chose from the red wines "from here" or local ones within 45 km... for beer lovers, there are various alternatives. Starter: Crostone with mortadella and livers, good. First course, lasagna. I was hesitant but the doubts disappeared immediately. The time passed quickly also thanks to the chats with the other guests and with the owner and the collaborator, a small and familiar environment. Meal concluded with coffee and a Genoa amaro, but I don't want to reveal too much. I saved the restaurant in my favourites, I will go back again! Memorable experience.

On the way to the Davinci Museum it started to rain and my partner and I went into this lovely charming restaurant to shelter in place and grab a bite to eat. Even though it was officially closed, the owner said we could sit down because she didn't want to send us out because of the rain - so nice! We ate a delicious homemade lasagne and were allowed to choose between three wines, all of which we were allowed to try. Even my friend who didn't order any wine was allowed to try it. We came here just by chance and it was a great experience with very nice staff who saved our rainy afternoon.

It really "convinced" us, excellent products, the owner, a fantastic person, welcomed us on a day with very bad weather and despite the difficulties (due to the rain) made us feel at home... the cold cuts were delicious, the pecorino was "serious", as she said, excellent, the organic creams super and to finish she offered us the schiacciata with the still warm grapes. Everything was really excellent.

We accidentally came across Vinci while on a road trip, and what a pleasant surprise it was! Not only is Vinci a very, very nice town, but this restaurant was also absolutely awesome. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The food was delicious, with every dish bursting with flavor. The drinks were equally impressive, perfectly complementing the meal. The location added to the charm, offering a lovely ambiance that made our dining experience even more enjoyable. Thank you so much for a wonderful time!

Went in for a drink (during a rain shower) and stayed for a salad lunch, also because they are very friendly. Tasty and fair priced food. They propose different wine options and let you taste first.

Nothing short of perfect. After visiting the Leonardo Da Vinci museums in Vinci, we found this lovely place for our lunch. Both the service and food were splendid. Be sure to try the traditional Tuscan bruschetta, the fresh chicken / chick pea / carrot / feta salad and / or their splendid cannelloni. You won’t be disappointed. And, if your lucky, their daily dessert special is very tasty homemade rice cake. Enjoy! P.S. We didn’t have any wine. But rest assured: they have an impressive collection of regional wines. Another couple sat down next to us for a wine tasting.

La location è caratteristica perché presenta dei piccoli tavolini anche all’aperto. Noi eravamo in due e abbiamo ordinato un’insalatona, un mix di bruschette e un bicchiere di vino. L’insalatona era ottima, anche se non molto abbondante, le bruschette discrete, seppur accompagnate da salse di buona qualità. La scelta del vino è stata preceduta da una descrizione minuziosa di una delle proprietarie, che ci ha gentilmente proposto anche un piccolo assaggio di diverse tipologie di vini della zona. Forse i prezzi sono un po’ alti.
