Continental Bar Pizzeria Birreria In Perugia

Continental is a small restaurant and pizzeria in the heart of Perugia old city. It offers a quite varied menu and we tried appetizers and pizzas. The quality of food is just acceptable but not worth a second visit. Service is very kind and friendly but the setting is rather shabby. Prices are relatively cheap.

Very quiet dinner, good food, fast service

The pizzas were definitely tasty and enough to serve 2!! If you’re hungry (or you’re a young university student) then this is a great little spot off the beaten path in Perugia! The hosts were ao sweet and wonderful! The wine (we had the Sangiovese from Umbria) was also great!! Would eat again!

We ate there today. There were four of us, and we decided to have the set menu. Everything was super good. For 17 euros, the first course, the second, and water were included. We chose pasta (I can't remember the name of it now) for our first course, and breaded chicken and roast pork for our second course. They served us very well, were very friendly, and explained everything perfectly. We were pleasantly surprised, a quiet place close to the center.

An uninspiring experience: Surprisingly poor service and no knowledge of the wines offered on the menu. The first course was poorly balanced and the portions were meager compared to other restaurants in the area. The torta al testo was extremely dry, and we weren't given the option of adding anything to make it chewier. The side dish was bland and dull. Prices were average. In short, a few things need to be revisited.

We ended up here by chance, and I must say that we immediately found a very kind and nice girl to welcome us, the menu has a great variety of choices in fact I who am following a ketogenic diet I managed to find dishes ideal for my diet! They were super nice to accommodate me and that is no small thing trust me! My daughter took the fettuccine with ragù and according to her and my husband they were really delicious, I took a chicken breast with salad and my husband a sliced ​​steak with truffle. Everything was delicious and good prices

Typical Perugian trattoria in a historic location. Very friendly and helpful restaurateur. Very delicious dishes especially the typical tagliatelle with truffle. Fair and honest prices. Highly recommended
