Concetti In Grottammare

The best pizzas in the area! I often stop at Concetti for pizzas, they're delicious! It's always a pleasure coming to you.

What can I say...an institution in Grottammare...classic square pizzas sold at the counter...and pizzas by the plate, both takeout and dine-in. It's not the classic Neapolitan pizza, but pan pizza. Not thick...but tasty. The one with porchetta is excellent. The spit-roasted chicken they make every day is excellent, better if you book in advance...fair prices. When we get to Grottammare, a stop at Concetti is a must. Good luck, keep it up!

Air of the good old days gone by

For our first evening in Grottammare, we were looking for an affordable traditional pizzeria. Unfortunately, we made the mistake of looking for reviews on Google Maps, which we couldn't understand at all. The pizzeria's value for money was good. After all, you can get a bad pizza for little money. The pizza isn't baked with the dough on a stone, but rather pressed into molds that are far too oily. This means you can taste all the oil on your tongue with every bite. The pizza was also far too crispy, and not in a good way. The dough was dense and not at all airy. It tasted more like a pizza from a typical fast-food restaurant. If that doesn't bother you, it's a cheap pizza of corresponding quality.

This afternoon I happened to be walking past this place, and I ordered a pizza bianca and a draft beer, all for a ridiculous price. The staff were very friendly. The place is very similar to the one it was 50 years ago, when I spent my summer holidays in Grottammare as a child.

If you go to Grottammare, pizza is a must at Concetti. They're the best, and the pizza is spectacular. The restaurant has been tastefully renovated, but with respect for its history, with beautiful vintage photos that tell a story about Concetti and Grottammare. Prices are more than fair. Well done, we'll definitely be back!

Good-value pizzas. The outdoor tables are comfortable.

Chicken, potatoes and pizzas are top notch, wine on tap only one glass otherwise aspirin...beer on tap is good if served well, coffee no comment
