Nos recomendaron este restaurante de nuestro guía turístico Luigi de Goldentours en la excursión de un día a Amalfi. No nos decepcionaron. Después de visitar la Grotta dello Smeraldo teníamos una mesa reservada a través de Luigi con una mesa sobre la vista de la hermosa costa. El restaurante era excelente, con una buena opción en el menú. Elegimos pargo rojo recubierto de sal que era caro, pero vale la pena. La comida era excelente y la vista era divina.

30/09/2024: E' un piccolo ristorante con una interessante terrazza affacciata sul lago, dove si riesce a pranzare tranquilli. Menu' fisso di 3 portate, il primo (pasta alla carbonara) da migliorare (troppo uovo, molto "turistico"). Prezzi un po' alti, soprattutto per il vino, ma nel complesso nella media. Servizio premuroso e gentile.
19/08/2024: Vecchia Varenna was an absolute positive surprise and a promising start of dining at Como lake. The deal is simple: amazing lake view, tasteful environment, professional attentive service and high-end menu, all for €30/person. The starter’s green pea emulsion was jaw-dropping. Decent carbonara and not-your-average tiramisu, all the right portion. Classic one-sip espresso. Hint for vegetarians: just ask your main without the pork. Highly recommended.

03/12/2024: Let me start by saying that I have been going to this place for some time and that I have always had a good time. Today, however, I really want to write a review referring to their pinsas because they are really delicious. I've tried several but I really feel like recommending the pinsa marinara and the pinsa zibello (with culatello, burrata and fig cream): both really super good and special (yes, the marinara too!!). Prices, in my opinion, a little too high, although still average (taking into account the increase in prices in recent years). The waitress who served us, whose name I unfortunately don't remember, was very kind and helpful. Large and well-kept room.
03/12/2024: Very positive experience. The place is nice and welcoming with its industrial style decor. The staff is courteous and quick in service. The pinsas, cuts and sandwiches are delicious, with particular praise for the Pulled Pork. A note of merit for the red beer.
