22/07/2025: Had dinner with family, excellent location, efficient and courteous staff. Very fresh fish. Good value for money. 2 appetizers, 3 first courses, water, and a glass of wine. The appetizers,
Fisherman's cheese and red shrimp with burrata, were excellent. The first courses were remarkable. The spaghettoni with bottarga and raw amberjack were superb. The scialatiello with shrimp and zucchini flowers was also excellent.
I returned on Saturday, July 19th and was forced to add a star. It's 5 for everything. I tried the fried fish and now I understand why it's so good. And what can I say about the cod carpaccio with pink peppercorns and orange? Superb. The first courses are spectacular. I had the paccheri, my daughter had the spaghettoni.
21/07/2025: On the Scario seafront, in the shadow of the church, there's a very charming little restaurant. The interior is small, but the outdoor tables can comfortably accommodate guests. A simple menu offers a decent selection of dishes, expertly prepared by the chef. The first courses were superb, to say the least: the crispy fried fish was neither good nor bad, just basic. The appetizer was minimal, with spectacular tuna steaks. The octopus with potatoes, where unfortunately the potatoes dominated. The rest of the cod was a bit bland, and the pan-fried meatballs and seaweed were avoidable. The fries could have been crispier, but they were just a side dish. The wine list is very interesting, offering both sparkling wines (Franciacorta and Champagne), and a good selection of whites, rosés, and reds, not just local ones. The service was courteous and quite prompt. We hope to return on a less crowded day so we can appreciate the rest of the menu.
Anyway, you're on the right track, come on, given the strong competition in the area.
