31/07/2025: A typical restaurant, but also "atypical" in a certain sense. Go there knowing you'll only find one thing: trout, trout, and more trout. When the owner of the B&B "Mas dei Girardei" where we spent our vacation recommended it to us, I must admit I was a little skeptical. Then, since he kept recommending it, we decided to give it a try, and... thank goodness we did. They do serve trout, sure, but hats off, ladies and gentlemen, this is a top-notch restaurant! Trout are farmed right next to the restaurant, and that in itself is something you won't find easily. The menu includes a trout appetizer—smoked, marinated, and carpaccio—and two main courses: grilled trout and fried trout. There were two of us, so we decided to have all three courses, and we were absolutely delighted. The trout was delicious, in every variation offered. Personally, I love fried food—any kind—and those fried trout bites blew my mind. A must-visit if you're in the area, but it's also worth traveling a few extra kilometers to try their specialties.
25/06/2025: A simple but delicious trout menu. Great value for money. The only negative for my taste: too many salty spices on the grilled trout.
