This evening, for the first time, we had dinner in this restaurant. We were very satisfied with the quality of the dishes and the professionalism of the staff!!!! Very kind people and attentive to customer needs!!! I highly recommend it!!!

We had dinner this evening. The food was excellent, both the mixed grill and the mixed fry, as well as the mussels. Nice place in the historic center, very friendly staff. Special attention also went to our big dog who was immediately brought a bowl of fresh water

Ogni anno per le nostre vacanze estive ritorniamo volentieri, è sempre una certezza. Cucina ottima, piatti di pesce freschissimi. Possibilità di scegliere spiedini di pesce alla griglia cucinati in modo eccelso. Un ottima cucina senza fronzoli, pura bontà. Vi consiglio la crema catalana con aroma di arancia e cannella, io ho fatto il bis. Personale gentile e attento al cliente, padroni molto affabili e cordiali. Lo consiglio vivamente.

Consigliato da una coppia di turisti, siamo rimasti soddisfatti della qualità dei piatti, ben preparati, porzioni giusti e ingredientipesce fresco almeno per i piatti che abbiamo scelto noi. Consiglio l'opzione menù per buon rapporto portateprezzo. Servizio professionale e veloce.

17/07/2024: This restaurant definitely deserves more than 5 stars! Thank you for our lovely afternoon! The service was very friendly, we were even served by the boss. The beach-style ambience with relaxed music, a balm for the soul - we also really liked the direct beach location, we could look directly at the sea. By the way, the pizza bread was on the house, a nice deal. We would love to come back, thank you for everything.

01/09/2024: Booked well in advance and requested table on the terrace which was nice. Food was good, but price and special entre was more than most mains and of course you didn't know this, water and wine wasn't always refilled in a timely manner. Declined water and then was asked again and pretty much forced to order 4Euro water, when we had already ordered a full bottle of wine. The most disappointing part of the experience was when paying we were forced to leave a tip with the waiter saying tip cash or card, when we tried to simply pay the bill total the waiter added 10% tip to an already very expensive bill. Considering we had just had dinner at Don Giovanni in positano the night before which had amazing views, no pressure to tip, no water forced or coperto charge was left quite disappointed with the service and the experience at Da Gemma. Next time would try a different restaurant in amalfi.
31/08/2024: We liked it very much, especially because they brought the sea bass after cleaning it, and because of the polite behavior of the waiters, it can definitely be preferred. It is necessary to make a reservation online in advance
