Hotel restaurant pizzeria Val Dolo: arriving in Civago, in the center of the village, just below the church and finding a place like this, is a great happiness, I discovered that the place has been managed for 60 years by the Magnani family, grandmother Clara, the founder is no longer there, but the place has maintained the same characteristics, the staff is very kind, renovated rooms, a dozen bedrooms, but above all a large and simple restaurant, excellent wood-fired pizza, small and tasty mountain cappelletti will welcome you, delicate mushroom crepes, baked or stewed ribs with polenta, desserts and desserts, everything will amaze you and take you back to ancient flavours. A marvel.

A very happy surprise in the middle of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, we only stayed one night but the kindness and friendliness of all the staff was fantastic, as was the dinner consumed on site, what can I say, keep it up, you are a rare flower of a mountain that deserves it!

08/11/2024: Carino il locale, molto intimo con personale gentile e disponibile Menù con varia scelta di carne e pesce, sembra tutto molto sfizioso Nel menù di terra ci sono tanti piatti tipici della cucina romana, cucinati proprio come da tradizione Ottimi gli antipasti di terra con i vari assaggi e molto buoni anche il risotto al tartufo Buoni anche i dolci Conto nella media, circa 35€ a persona antipasto, primo e dolce Tornerò sicuramente
03/07/2024: I chose this restaurant because of the excellent reviews and we were not disappointed. The charming owner made us feel so welcome and special. When we couldn’t decide what to choose from the menu, he asked us ‘do you trust me?’ ‘Yes!’ we said. ‘Ok, I’ll make some small plates so you can try a selection’ he said. And let me say that everything was amazing. Great flavours and fresh ingredients all put together beautifully. This is a man who obviously loves what he does. This experience will be one that we remember and think of fondly.

21/10/2024: A magnificent discovery! We came across this establishment through a recommendation from our hotel (Tiziana) and it was superb. During our 4-night stay, we came to this restaurant a total of 3 times, we were so satisfied! From pizzas, pasta to grilled fish, everything was very good, well presented and served quickly. The restaurant is beautiful and MENTION to our server. A very friendly young man who knew how to make my whole family (my wife, my little daughter and me) completely at ease despite our very poor level of Italian. THANK YOU !
20/10/2024: So, good evening everyone... I must say that I am from Pisa and I was in this restaurant for a birthday of a friend of my daughter who is from Massa... The kids ate in another place, we adults came here... At first glance sitting in a welcoming place with really comfortable seats, then comes the menu. What can I say, I read prices that I didn't believe... First courses from 12/14/16 euros, second courses a little more expensive but not by much and then the pizzas we have ate... The most expensive one, 12 euros, was mine which was seafood, 10 euros which in other places you can charge 15/18 euros for... I said okay let's try... Nothing to say, exceptional! Fresh and delicious fish... We will definitely make the trip from Pisa again to come back and eat here!
