What can I say about the Pontevecchio parish club other than the best? The atmosphere is old-fashioned, but the food is excellent, and the portions are generous. They serve a typical Milanese dish, cassoeula, but reservations are virtually impossible due to the sheer number of people who want to eat it. Highly recommended.

Don't let the club fool you; it's not bad at all. The space is spacious, both inside and out, and serves as both a restaurant and bar, serving brioches made with Tre Maria dough, just the way I like it.

What the hell am I telling you? If there's never a place to reserve, there must be a reason... or not? Casslinga cuisine just the way we like it, generous dishes at a reasonable price. What more could you want? P.S.: The casserole, boiled meat, and tripe are in a whole other league, but finding a place is a real challenge. Best wishes.

It was truly a wonderful discovery! I called and it was the last available table. The staff were friendly and helpful, but the atmosphere was a bit noisy due to the large number of people in the room! The influx of people is understandable. Excellent food, very plentiful (2 first courses, 2 second courses with sides, water, wine, coffee, and liqueur for €15).

03/08/2025: Places close to my heart. I grew up in this restaurant. It's a piece of my heart and my childhood. Sentimentality aside, it's still the best pizza I've ever eaten. A must...the pan toast. One shame: they don't do home delivery.

04/10/2025: Perhaps some of you remember my scathing review from a couple of years ago. Well, I've returned to the café, and it's definitely improved. The people are more friendly and kind. I buy cigarettes, pay bills, and, if I get the chance, I drink tea. It's right to complain if something isn't satisfying, but it's equally right and proper to acknowledge improvements! Well done ✔️
