We had lunch there as a couple after visiting the Land of Cats. Highly recommended; the gnocchi with gorgonzola and cherry tomatoes were excellent! The staff was friendly, and the restaurant is pet-friendly.

A typical mountain trattoria with a stunning view of Lake Orta and the town of Omegna. Hearty dishes, and very friendly and helpful staff. If you like, you can visit the village, which is entirely dedicated to cats, with many paintings and dedications, and even a monument to the cat.

We had a drink here during our bike tour around the lake. Very old-fashioned/authentic. French restrooms, though spotlessly clean. There's no terrace with a view of the lake. Two older people run this restaurant. Many (mostly) older people came for lunch.

01/11/2025: Excellent! Unique view, excellent food, great friendliness and helpfulness from everyone, especially Barbara who served us. Highly recommended!
03/09/2025: I was sad to leave. The food was excellent and plentiful, and the price was great. The owners were very kind and helpful. Just above Macugnaga (about a half-hour walk), it's an enchanting place overlooking the town with breathtaking views of Monte Rosa. I highly recommend it to everyone.

18/12/2025: Good morning, I'm Massimo. I wanted to thank you because you made a spectacular and delicious cake for my wife's birthday on the 17th. It was so good that my wife didn't even ask for a second one. Congratulations to everyone at the La Casa del Doce pastry shop. They were punctual with the delivery, very kind. Thank you. And best wishes for the holidays.
02/10/2025: Customized birthday cake for a party for about 50 elementary school children. Despite the last-minute reservation, the cake was completely satisfied: truly delicious yet light, beautifully decorated, and with the requested customizations clearly represented. Excellent service, with the utmost willingness to please the customer. A surefire success for every party for my children.
