Nice restaurant to eat typical Milanese food in a busy area. The risotto and pork chops are very tasty, but the food is rather expensive. You can order in English without any problems, the staff is very nice and accommodating.

**Review: "La Tradizione Milanese" restaurant**
If you are looking for an authentic culinary experience in the heart of Milan, "La Tradizione Milanese" is a place you absolutely cannot miss. Located in a quiet but central street, this restaurant perfectly embodies the elegance and warmth of Milanese cuisine, offering a mix of tradition and refinement.
As soon as you enter, the atmosphere welcomes you with a perfect balance between modernity and references to history. The furnishings are taken care of down to the smallest details: tastefully set tables, soft lighting and impeccable service that makes you feel pampered straight away.
The menu is a tribute to Lombard cuisine, with dishes that celebrate tradition but with a contemporary touch. I had the pleasure of tasting the **saffron risotto with ossobuco**, a true masterpiece: the rice was creamy, perfectly creamed, while the ossobuco melted in the mouth, with a fresh and tasty gremolada that enhanced every bite. Even the **Milan schnitzel**, served with baked potatoes and a light salad, was extraordinary: crunchy on the outside, juicy on the inside, with a golden breading that made it irresistible.
The staff is extremely courteous and knowledgeable, always ready to recommend the right dish or the ideal wine, without ever appearing intrusive. The quality-price ratio is absolutely honest, considering the quality of the raw materials and the attention to detail.
In summary, "La Tradizione Milanese" is not just a restaurant, but a journey through the flavors and emotions of Milan. Perfect for a romantic dinner, an evening with friends or a business lunch, it is a place that will make you fall in love with Milanese cuisine and will leave you wanting to return again and again. Highly recommended!

I recommend 😉
Everything was delicious, we ate the meneghini, the sciatt and the elephant ear cutlet (it's truly gigantic and we struggled to finish it).
If you don't like salt, tell the waiter that you don't prefer granulated salt on elephant ear (I recommend).
All accompanied by a Valpolicella wine.
Too bad we were too full, because I would have liked to try their desserts, but I have a great reason to go back 😋😋😋

Very nice and well-kept location. I only recommend placing the first entrance door where you can't read either front or back whether it needs to be pushed or pulled. They have a good number of seats, with an impeccable mise-en-place (I only recommend adding a saucer to place the bread on, given that the tablecloth is missing).
Menu with typical Milanese, Valtellina or Bergamo dishes. I took an elephant ear: it was delicious and.. huge!! The potatoes are also good, but it would be better to make them crunchier. I was full after the schnitzel, but I couldn't say no to the braulio ice cream! Excellent, there was a lot of bitterness.
The second time I was there I also had the Milanese risotto with luganega: excellent! And even polenta with elephant ear... lots of stuff!
Very friendly dining room staff, they even brought me my smartphone holder because they realized I was watching a football match.
High prices, but correct given the quality of the offer
I will definitely come back!

Place that was recommended to me, unfortunately the table in the "dehor" that was communicated to me at the time of booking, was outdoors, with heating lamps on the far wall, on an evening with 4° degrees and rain it was an absolutely wrong choice. The restaurateur should have at least warned that I would have to eat with the jacket and that the dishes, although they were certainly good, would have gotten cold before being consumed! Better a few fewer covers until spring but satisfied customers.
PS. Outdoor tables in the area which is also used for smokers. Unacceptable!!

Nothing to say about the location which is very nice and welcoming, starters and elephant ear are good even if the latter is too dry and stringy, but the problem is that we were there on Saturday evening at 8pm with two people and at 9pm 8pm brought the bill and they asked us to free the table as they had another reservation... Not even time to enjoy the evening a bit! I won't go back again because it's not the way to treat customers (we had booked the table the week before)

Nice experience to try typical Milanese and non-Milan dishes. You go there to try the famous elephant ear cutlet: good, but the last time it was really dry, overcooked and a sauce would be appreciated to "tone down" the dryness of the meat. Space Mondeghili. Really good service, courteous guys, present and available. Particular and beautiful location. The sofa was slightly uncomfortable for eating and sitting on for more than an hour.
