We organized our wedding lunch and it was nothing short of perfect thanks to the availability, kindness and professionalism of Pietro and his staff. They met all our needs. Crescentine with sublime cold cuts, homemade tagliatelle and tortelloni, the best in Bologna. Grilled meat and side dishes. Meatballs for vegetarians. Very happy guests and super honest price. A place from another time where you can breathe serenity and simplicity. Go on Thursday or Sunday evening and enjoy the authenticity of this place and the people who make it so special.

15 minuti a piedi dalla stazione centrale, 1 minuto dall’ippodromo. Il classicissimo circolo, spartano e basico . Tagliatelle da 9 e ragù da 8 .. crescentine ( gnocco fritto) da 7 e prosciutto da 6,5. Caffè buono. Mangiare da 4 stelle, ma conto da 2, vista la basicità del servizio e della mis en place. Media 3 stelle . Consigliato .

Thursday and Sunday we eat and there is music. Better to book. Usually there are first courses and crescentine with cold cuts. The right place to spend a nice evening is to eat well.

Tagliatelle al ragù ottime, così come le Crescentine. Tortelloni e tortellini TOP. ll locale é un circolo Arci bene organizzato e alla mano. Il personale cortese e disponibile.

14/06/2025: Meanwhile, the place, which is truly vintage, one of those that you can immediately see have existed for decades and are real, genuine and full of poetry because there are fewer and fewer places like this around, unfortunately... That said: the mixed appetizer was more than decent, with a special mention for the mushroom crostini but the rest was also good (a "just right" portion for one person). The meats were excellent (we tasted the veal tenderloin and the rare cutlet), the Bolognese cutlet was delicious even if a little too greasy and salty. Among the side dishes, the fried artichokes deserve a mention while the mascarpone is good but a little too tiramisu to deserve a high rating. The house Chianti was good, the service was much appreciated (young, empathetic and prepared staff) and the bill was correct. Absolutely worth trying, for me very close to 5 stars!
