We came across this restaurant by chance and it was an extraordinary experience of refined cuisine, welcoming atmosphere in a protected garden and a breathtaking view... not to mention the perfect staff...

We enjoyed a delicious and exquisitely prepared meal on the terrace. The building and the terrace are spectacular; everything is very well maintained, clean, and beautiful; the staff is very friendly and professional. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The dishes were tasty and well-prepared, but the portions were really small. At that price, you might as well order the set menu rather than get ripped off à la carte. The biggest drawback was the welcome: cold waitress, persistent stares, and a pushy attitude... We didn't feel welcome, which was a shame.

Hermoso restaurante en el Hotel La Sommita. La presentación, el sabor, la atención al detalle, etc de la comida fue súper. Igualmente impresionante fue el nivel de servicio. Nos hicieron creer que este restaurante solo tenía un menú degustación, pero ciertamente no es el caso. No te puedes perder cerca de la cima de Ostuni

20/08/2025: We had dinner in this typical Apulian location, typical food with handmade orecchiette of the best consistency and flavor, varied and abundant appetizers; the town of Ceglie di Messapica is a discovery, highly recommended.
19/08/2025: The food was really good, the staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and the lady who made the orecchiette on the spot was legendary (though I don't know if they were actually the ones we were served; they were different sizes). It was crowded, and the service suffered—we spent three hours at the table! The prices are definitely high.
