Beautiful, talented, and friendly. Everything was delicious, the place and atmosphere were super cozy. (Cacio e pepe was better than in Rome.)

It's always like this, wonderful discoveries always happen by chance!
We were headed to another restaurant when, finding it closed, we stumbled upon Cicalone in total desperation.
The host was incredibly kind (if only they were all like that!), and, as we requested, he literally guided us to a truly authentic Florentine dinner.
Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back!!

Dissapointing experience. Antipasto was good but main courses very average. Service was terrible. We waited for 45 minutes for our food while other tables seated well after us were served. Blah.

Excellent lunch; we had a first course, a Florentine steak, and two side dishes for two.
Everything was excellent, the atmosphere was very welcoming, and the staff were very friendly.
I highly recommend it if you're in Florence; I'd go back.

A gem in the city center, just steps from everything. The onion soup warmed us both body and soul. The meat was superb. The girls are friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

Excellent experience
I'd been to this restaurant two years ago with my boyfriend, but since I returned with friends, this was a must.
Impeccable service; the owner is very helpful and truly attentive to detail.
Excellent food and really fast service, plus a very traditional and welcoming location.
Definitely a place to try.

A small, intimate osteria where you can enjoy traditional Florentine dishes, as well as a few more original dishes. The service is excellent, with helpful and friendly staff. I would recommend it to both tourists and locals. They work well, and since it's a smaller space, it's not excessively noisy, so there's plenty of room for quiet conversation with your friends.

We ate here twice during our three-day stay in Florence. Everything was delicious! The service was perfect. We ordered the cacio e pepe, the ravioli with potatoes, and the Florentine steak. I would love to go back! Highly recommended.
