Also the owner is an extreme sweet lady.

I had dinner with my children, my sister and my niece and I have to say the food was excellent, we had the Florentine steak, the Picci cacio e pepe and the Tuscan soup... everything was good, even the desserts 😋.. also the staff were very kind

Nothing to say, everything was perfect, amazing food, excellent wine recommendation, unmatched value for money. The Peposo was truly amazing, plus the desserts were truly sensational. Not recommended, but more than that.

Small and welcoming, with a varied menu including several daily specials. Delicious dishes, including pasta dishes loaded with sauces, and the heavenly peposo.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and they explained the history of the dishes and how they're prepared, making everything even more immersive.

A treat for the palate and the heart.
The authentic dishes of Tuscan cuisine, the ingredients selected with extreme care and attention, convey a sense of passion and authenticity for the work being done.
The cheerful and comfortable atmosphere is enlivened by the sparkling charm of the host, who recommends and pairs wines (and more) to perfection and is attentive to the needs of his guests.
This is not just an osteria: here, you truly feel at home.
Everything is exquisite: every course has its own reason for being. Special mention goes to the peposo, which is simply sublime.

Where a couple from Australia and ate here twice while in Florence. The staff were absolutely amazing, fun, happy and extremely polite. Food was fantastic and I would recommend this to anybody. You should come to Florence to visit the Duomo and eat at Osteria Cicalone !! Probably the best dishes we’ve had in Italy 🇮🇹 thanks for “questo momento” !!

We arrived late in Florence and had very little time to get to know our surroundings (luckily we were just off the train station and Santa Maria Novella square). To cut it short: lucky strike! Tried our luck with Cicalone. They were predictably full on a Saturday night and yet they managed to squeeze the six of us in for an early quick bite. It turned into a very good dinner. All in all we used our hour and some very efficiently thanks to the staff, the very hearty and delicious menu and an excellent choice of wines. We shall be back!
