Discovered it two years ago, on holiday in Aosta, we returned again this year and it did not disappoint us at all, both in the quality and variety of the food and in the kindness and hospitality of the staff and owner. Excellent compliments

Let me start by saying that in Aosta, but also in the valley, it is difficult to find a vegan restaurant, the only one I found open on Saturday for lunch is "CIBO" with excellent reviews and therefore you expect the best. The dishes are simple and good but very expensive also in relation to the quantity. We took a plate of champignon mushrooms (about 20 3 mm slices) sliced, breaded and fried with a spoonful of sauce for €. 12.00, a plate with 3 rolls of phyllo dough with broccoli, leeks, potatoes (more pasta than filling) with 1 tablespoon of sauce for €. 12.00 then a plate of Tempeh with 1 tablespoon of lentils, 2 slices of orange 2 millimeters thick and some chopped almonds for €. 19.00 in total with water, coffee and cover charge 57 euros.
In my humble opinion it is a trendy place that rides the vegan wave and takes advantage of the fact that it is the only vegan restaurant in Aosta.

I went to this restaurant with my partner on a Saturday evening. We liked the environment in some aspects, while others we found inconsistent. We appreciated the intimate atmosphere and the soft lights on the tables, but the pea green color of the walls and the wall prints gave us a feeling more suited to a dentist's office or a massage parlor. We weren't particularly thrilled with the food, but that's personal taste. The salad with orange and chickpeas was too acidic and we didn't finish it; the lasagne was very hot on the outside but cold in the centre, however we finished it.
As far as the service is concerned, in general everything was acceptable, but we would like to make an observation: when using revenue not requested by the customer (which we also very much appreciated and appreciated), it would be appropriate for them to be explained. We address these suggestions to owners as opportunities for improvement, not as criticism. We deliberately awarded 3 stars and not 1, so as not to discredit the place. Thank you.

We came in as a group (7 people)
We were well hungry.
We also left well hungry!
We were also well confused..
The service is somewhat chaotic.
The owner has tried her best in english, but i'm quite sure we got some dishes we never ordered.
The portion size is tiny, if you expect to be saturated better go eat a pizza before!
The overall quality was acceptable.
In the end we will leave amused, but sadly a bit hungry and with lessened funds as the prices are rather ambitious.
One of us is filled to the brim, eventho fearful of being bankrupt.
Ps: The Burgers come with neat little embroided sticks. (Stick as seen in the picture, this is not the burger, eventho the size isnt much different)
In all honesty, thanks to the hostess, a night to remeber.

Prima volta in un ristorante vegano, pur non essendo noi vegani e devo dire che l'esperienza è stata molto positiva. Il cibo era molto buono, il servizio ottimo e la location carina anche se un po' poco luminoso

I wasn't crazy about it, which is a shame because the reviews I read around spoke really well about it. First of all, the starter was absolutely overpriced: a few mini burgers of vegetables and legumes, not very tasty and quite dry (on the menu called "croquettes", misleading for me) at €12. Note of merit for the tomato jam it was accompanied by, really interesting, I would have associated it with something more delicious though.
For the first course I had spaghetti with black cabbage and avocado, I must say very good but certainly nothing special for costing €14. My partner had the fusilli with Jerusalem artichokes and red onions, which were also good but I would absolutely say it was a very simple dish for the amount paid.
Let's consider that the cover charge is €2.50 per person and the place is small (and the tables too), dark and not particularly decorated, in fact I really had the impression that we could have done more order and given greater harmony to the environment. In short, perhaps by lowering the cost by a few euros or by offering slightly more elaborate dishes it would be a good tavern but I don't particularly recommend it that way.

I don't think I have offended or spoken badly about the place, it is a review and as such requires the opinion of a customer who as such may not be satisfied. I made some respectful criticisms regarding my taste and that of the person who accompanied me, as criticisms in fact, I believe they can be taken with a spirit of improvement given that those who pay for their home are precisely the guests they welcome.
I have been vegan for years and have been to several restaurants over time, as a paying customer it is not my job to open one, but rather to fully enjoy the experience and from there compare it with others. A public establishment exposes itself to criticism and judgement, otherwise it would not be public but rather it would be its own home.
