Ciao Ciao In Mesagne

I discovered the place thanks to an ad on Instagram. A welcoming place and very kind staff. We had a mixed fried fish dish, everything delicious, but I was particularly impressed by the meatballs and potato croquettes. You could tell they weren't frozen, but tasted like homemade. Excellent pizza, very light dough, despite being quite elaborate. And to finish? Pan di Stelle tiramisu, a delight. We'll definitely be back.

The food is good, but the behavior of some of the waitresses was truly unprofessional: they were more focused on flirting with customers than serving tables. Such behavior ruins the restaurant's image. If management tolerates this way of working, it means they approve of certain behaviors—and that also says a lot about the management of the place. A real shame, because the food deserves better.

What can I say? I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT, everything is excellent. I love meatballs, there's no better place.

We went to eat at this delicious place in the evening. The meatballs are really, really good; you have to try them at least once in your life. Excellent value for money, and the staff is very friendly.

We came here attracted by the all-you-can-eat meatball offer. It's nice, but they don't give you anything for free. First of all, the price is no longer €15 but €20, which is also reasonable considering the cover charge is included, so if you buy a water for two, you can get by for €21 each. The all-you-can-eat option works in phases. The first is the meatball phase. Once you've finished the meatballs (which is a sampling of 24 meatballs per person, of 8 different types, so 3 of each per person), comes the pizza phase (which is now a regular pizza, not the mini-pizza like before). If you finish the pizza, you can go back to the meatball phase. And so on. You choose the pizza flavor at the beginning and it stays the same throughout the rounds. In the end, after a whole pizza and a round of meatballs, everyone is practically full, so the price is like getting a pizza and a €10 appetizer of meatballs. The meatballs are good and come in a variety of flavors, but they're a big savings. Half of them are actually potato croquettes or rice balls (mini arancini), and the meat ones are basically just bread. The wait times need improvement. We arrived at 7:30 PM, and after an hour from opening, despite being the only ones there and 5-6 waiters flitting around, we were left standing at the entrance for 5 minutes. Once seated, we waited a quarter of an hour just to order, even though we'd already told them we were there for the all-you-can-eat option. I made sure to explain how the all-you-can-eat option works in the review because when I asked for information on the phone when I made the reservation, I was told, "You come first, and we'll explain how it works later." Despite this, I highly recommend the place. It's a new idea, and I really appreciate it, with the necessary improvements.
