We visited this restaurant for a birthday party, choosing the blind menu. The atmosphere is very welcoming, rustic yet elegant, and the service—after a little initial hesitation—proved professional and attentive throughout the evening.
The first two vegetarian courses were well executed, but in a restaurant with a strong meat-focused identity, it would have been nice to find a balance, perhaps paired with a meat appetizer like hand-sliced prosciutto or a small tartare. The wild boar plin pasta was one of the best dishes of the dinner.
Some main courses were less convincing: the ossobuco, while visually appealing, was a bit stringy, while the pancetta was too fatty to be appreciated. Dessert was good, although the panna cotta with caramel and popcorn was a bit too sugary for our taste.
Overall, the evening was enjoyable thanks to the ambiance, the service, and the interesting menu. With a little more attention to the variety and balance of the dishes, the experience could become truly excellent.
