Great place to grab cocktails at night. However, the hours aren’t accurate so maybe just stop by if you’re already in the area but have a backup plan incase they’re closed. Besides that it’s a wonderful spot.

Very informal place to have an aperitif in the Piazzale degli Eroi lawns area. The feature is that it serves canned cocktails.

Nice place but the staff seemed bored of working there, I barely received a smile and waited a long time for a glass of wine. It's a very chill situation if you expect the service of a club, you won't find it... if you want to have a chat in the little square with a beer it's fine.

It is the place where i bought my croissants for 1 month every morning. They were so so kind. I wish i could have met them earlier. And i will never ever forget the song you have recommended me that one day, Aspettando il Sole. Grazie mille for making my days better✨

Nice place, with nice fresh canned cocktails. The scrocchiarella pizza is also good. It would be good to also have a large mocktails option in the future

Beer at a lower price than the rest of the city, still expensive compared to Spain. Kiosk in the middle of the roundabout...horrible surroundings...little music and strange...drink served in a hot can, never seen before...Italians don't know how to go in liters (bottles) sad in general

I leave a positive rating because Fischio is an institution. It's our meeting point, or at least it was. It has now become the point of our date, to then go somewhere else for a drink. Oh yes because as EVERYONE knows there are few tables and it has become too crowded. Too. At any time of the afternoon or evening there is an endless queue that goes all the way to behind the newsstand. And so I don't even remember the last time I had the moral strength and patience to stand in line for spritzes. At most now we'll take the pizza by the slice nearby and go and sit on the wall behind Fischio.

01/09/2024: Small place, with the possibility of eating outside, the sandwiches are very good, even if the price seemed a little high to me, but it must be said that the meat was excellent. We returned after 4 years with our friends, in total there were 5 people and I must say that the service has improved and they are much faster, I recommend it because the products have proven to be excellent, but the price is still a little high.

La Carbonara

03/08/2024: We were recommended to try this restaurant specifically by a local so we were very excited to try their carbonara. As others have mentioned, the service leaves much to be desired. We were accustomed to the more transactional type of service that you experience in Italy; this was not that. The service was both aggressive and dismissive. We ordered bread which said on the menu it should come with olive oil, and also requested balsamic vinegar; the bread came dry and they charged us for qty 2 (I’m assuming because we were 2 people? We only wanted 1 serving). I believe our server forgot about these things because she was so aggressively pushing us to order more than what we really wanted which was just the carbonara. We were a little taken aback by how aggressively she was trying to get us to order more so we ordered the caprese just to end the interaction. The caprese salad did taste very nice. The carbonara was good but quite salty and I would say the pasta was a bit firmer than al dente. But, we enjoyed it. The thing that really put a sour note on the dinner was at the end, we got the check and they had a slip of paper asking us to write down how much we wanted to tip. I had experienced, and been told by many locals, that tipping is NOT expected in Italy. So we chose not to write anything because our bill was way higher than we were hoping to pay (€85 for two people to have 1 drink each, pasta, and a caprese salad???) and we were not particularly impressed by the service to merit additional tip. The server came to run our card and pulled out the sheet of paper and ASKED US TO WRITE SOMETHING DOWN ON IT. I was honestly stunned. I am certain that piece of paper wouldn’t have even been in there if we were obviously European. In America I am a generous tipper but it was obvious this restaurant had inflated prices in a touristy location hoping to attract the ignorance of tourists with these practices. I am confident we could have found similar/better quality carbonara for a much lower price point elsewhere in the city and was disappointed in this recommendation.
